Back on the roller coaster! ROUND 2 *DING DING*
Hi lovelies. I hope you're all well. After a little break after our BFN in March we are soon starting cycle 2. We had our follow up appointment and all seemed ok and we were told the BFN after 2WW was just down to bad luck. So I'm doing short protocol stims from end of May and have started the pill

23 years post-diagnosis
Hi, I am new here, and would like to introduce myself. My husband was diagnosed with PC in 1993, when he was 58. He just turned 81. The initial diagnosis was done when his PSA was 12, Gleason 7. He underwent radical prostatectomy. In 2001 his PSA started to go up and reached 4.4. Bone scan did not show

Low Dose Naltrexone
Just an update on my LDN journey. As far as Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is concerned, it is an unlicensed drug which, as far as I can ascertain, means that it is not on the list of approved drugs for doctors to prescribe on the NHS, but that if they wish to prescribe it it is perfectly legal for them

Uncontrolled blood sugar
I am 53, male and a diabetic since 10 years, from Hyderabad. Till one year back it was in reasonable control. In the recent past, my Fasting and PP levels are 150-190 and 240-265. The Hba1c is fluctuating between 8 and 10. I am on insulin (20 units in the morning and 15 in the night) + 3 500 mg metformin

Metformin and Chemotherapy - Synergy?
New Chinese review below. Seems that Metformin may have synergy with chemo for a good number of cancers. PCa is mentioned. "In this review, we summarized the molecular mechanisms underlying anticancer effects of metformin, which included insulin- and AMPK-dependent effects, selectively targeting cancer

Can anyone help with these blood results and tell me which other supplements i may need. (These were taken on 1st april). Having more done tomorrow but folate and b12 won't be included. Just to add these ones were done 6 weeks after my jab as the nurse didn't actually bother doing the b12 & folate before
