Uncontrolled blood sugar

I am 53, male and a diabetic since 10 years, from Hyderabad. Till one year back it was in reasonable control. In the recent past, my Fasting and PP levels are 150-190 and 240-265. The Hba1c is fluctuating between 8 and 10. I am on insulin (20 units in the morning and 15 in the night) + 3 500 mg metformin tabs. three times a day. But still, levels are not coming down. About 6 months back, I was diagonised with Thyroid for which I am using one tab. in the morning regularly.

What could be the cause for this uncontrolled sugar levels and how can I bring this down to reasonable levels? BTW, I changed 3 doctors and am presently going to an Endocrinologist.

Any serious and practial suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Reduce intake of fruit, grains, cereals, beans, peas, lentils, tubers, root vegetables and refined derivatives, having a little natural fat instead.

Have you heard of fasting?  Start eating 1.0 to 1.5 meals a day and amaze yourself.

immediately get in touch with a good diabetologist. he will increse your Insulin dose and similarly add some more medicines to control your sugar.

when it is controlled then come to forum for discussion.....

Diebetes is not 2+2=4 , it is more than sugar control......
