Exhausted
The
pain
in my back, left are and
leg
is constantly there even with the steroids. My other aches are still showing up due to the PMR. I’m still working 30 hours a week and it’s a physical job, so don’t know how long I can keep going as I’m exhausted all the time.

RLS and antidepressants
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone in the UK has been prescribed an antidepressant that doesn’t make their restless legs worse? I’ve been on citalopram, fluoxetine and duloxetine, they have all made my RLS worse.

In October 2023, I started suffering from pain on the left side of the body - sharp
pain
in the arm,
leg
, toes, burning sensation in the heel as well as brain fog. As I suffer from psoriatic arthritis, the GP said it could be a flared up of my arthritis.

"Bruise" in My Leg
Around 3:00 a.m. one morning, I awoke with a medium
pain
in my lower right
leg
. I saw on that leg a dome-shaped red swelling, about 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. It was over the "shin bone," about half way between my knee and ankle.

Can bacterial infections cause this?
In March this year (2023) I started to feel very ill and at the same time a
pain
in my left hip/
leg
started so I was hobbling back n forth to the bedroom! In May I went to the doctor and was sent for endo/colonoscopy. I was diagnosed with a stomach and kidney infection.

First Post. Uniquie Symptoms?
I have read now for 2 years and 3 months. At first I could barely follow. I wanted to thank you all. A heartfelt thank you. The information has been critical in my journey. It also helps to know that I am not alone in being abused by those in the medical field. A hematologist said to me. "Well

kratom vs Gabapentin
those of you who have switched from kratom to Gabapentin, or to something else… do you find if better or worse? I’d love to hear from some of you who used to use kratom but don’t anymore… do you feel better ? Do you feel less anxious? Has your sleep improved? Has your life improved? Is it possible to

Advice with my results please
Hi, I was diagnosed with under active thyroid in September and started on 50mg thyroxine. I have been symptomatic for a while (a few years), but was sent for bloods as my periods have gone nuts, results came back as TSH 8.7 and T4 14.8. I have also had a neck ache/headache pretty much constantly since

subutex
does anyone have any experience of using subutex for restless legs? My mother has had a knee replacement and her restless legs are terribly severe and she is not sleeping at all. She is on progablin and we have taken her off the oxycodine as it was making things much worse, her whole body was shaking

Newbie - Leg Pain
Hi everyone, I've just started C25K and am on week 2 and really enjoying it. I have, however, noticed that both my legs seem to cramp early/mid way through my run and feel really heavy. I've been doing the warm up and cool down stretches, so just trying to figure out if there is anything else I can do

Southern Counties Champs report. Take the good with the bad!
I think it’s about time I wrote a race report. Mainly because there haven’t been any yet this year for me till now. 😂 What went well? 1. My dodgy right ankle was in remission and during the warmup I didn’t feel any pain. Mind you, I did take a lot of painkillers just in case along with a good amount

UK based people
Hi folks, only recently joined the group and I'm reading in a lot of the posts that people have been referred to a specialist/consultant. Is this the norm? I was diagnosed Sept '21 but because of Covid I've not even seen a doctor! Was on pred from Sept '21 to November '22. I was ok when tapering down

Colonoscopy side effects
I had a colonoscopy earlier this week . I learned on friday that it showed i had collagenous colitis. i will be prescribed steroids. Since the colonoscopy i have developed horrific lower back pain which conventional pain killers don’t help. Can’t take anti inflammatory drugs as on blood thinners.

Hashimotos - inflammatory arthritis - hydroxychloroquine
Hi I have Hashimotos and a multitude of other ‘little conditions’ as you’ll all know. My main pain atm is my swollen finger joints. Due partly to covid I just had useless phone consultations with a rheumatologist and his locums. All saying you have osteoarthritis take an aspirin. Then a couple of months
