I have had Hippocampal Sclerosis since the age of 8 months and am now 41. I had surgery in 2017 to eradicate my seizures which were occurring on average 3 times a week. Since the operation, I have only had one due to being trialed off medication.
Apart from escaping the ongoing seizures, I have not escaped the anxiety, fear and worry that it will one day happen again.
I have been putting up with a headache that has not disappeared over the course of 2 weeks despite the painkillers. My doc said "oh you poor thing, have you tried panadol?" and was then asked what do I think. Of course I was not happy with this.
Has anyone in my situation - approx 5 years after surgery, experienced ongoing headaches or is it just me being worried again?

You need to consult your neurologist, if possible a neurosurgeon too. Forget your general physician. Headaches after brain surgery should not be taken lightly.
