Good morning one & all I am, as you know, now on 2,100 gabapentin taken in divided doses in the evenings to no avail. Today I spoke to my GP and to my amazement he is happy to start me on low dose oxycodone (to take at night). Thank you so much Sue & Jools for suggesting I sent him all the articles

quad pain people—are you still out there?
I did not have
leg
pain
before DAs so attribute this more that than I do RLS (the traditional symptoms of which I rarely get anymore with gabapentin).

Atypical femoral fracture symptoms
OP nurse said to visit GP who got me to do a few
leg
raises then said that because the
pain
was not constant or only present if weight bearing it probably wasn't a fracture. I also visited a physio but the symptoms haven't improved although site of pain has moved.

Augmentation
I have been taking 0.26mg of Pramapexole plus 100mg Tramadol for around 8 years. This is my second bout of Pramapexole, first time around after a good few years I augmented, had a break then started again. It really has been a good drug for me but of course I am paying the price again. My question is

HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY
Hello, Am booked for a hip replacement operation on 1st February. I had 2 knee replacement operations in 2017 and 2018. Although a hip replacement is supposed to be somewhat less painful and easier to recover from, I am dreading it for the simple reasons I have severe rheumatoid arthritis - so stopping

Does PMR taper off?
Have been so pleased since the first day of Prednisolone as by that evening I was pain-free and had the first normal night's sleep (always up at least 3 times to go to the loo) without severe arm and
leg
pain
getting in and out of bed, and turning over.

Back, Shoulder, Knee & Hand Joint Pain.
Hi, I had an X-Ray on both of my hands last April which confirmed I had Osteoarthritis in all of the joints in both of my hands. I have had shoulder pain in both of my shoulders for many years as my job is working on a computer. I started to have lower back pain in 2020 and always had pain in one knee

My experience with Ropinirole
Hi All I wanted to let people know of my experience with RLS, what I thought was augmentation, changing medications and seeing a Consultant. So it all started when the 0.5mg Ropinirole I was on did not have the same effect. Doing my own research I considered that augmentation was happening. When
