bisoprolol are the benefits worth it
I noticed that it did help with my heart rate but in return gave me awful side effects (
leg
pain
, bad anxiety, rapid heart rate if I missed a dose, panic attack at night). I guess my general question is is it worth it in the long run?

leg cramps after Lupron oxybutinin
After my third 3month Lipton shot and after starting oxybutinin er, i am having cramps and
pain
in back of left
leg
. Totally able to do treadmill and the elliptical but if I have to go up a flight of stairs, the leg cramps just kill me. Anyone had any similar experiences?

Post double ankle sprain rehab
Hi all, I managed to sprain both ankles, falling off a high curb, but at the beginning of a 450km cycle tour. Although I could not walk well, I could cycle with discomfort only under exertion. Given that I had was committed to the tour, I continued with pain-killers, an ankle support for the most affected

My anxiety is getting to me!
Doctor did however say to raise the
leg
pain
with my GP and ask for an ABPI Doppler test so that is on my list for my next appointment on the 6th (medication review).

More drugs!
Some of you will know we moved from Cornwall to the Bristol area which obviously meant registering with a new doctors surgery. I’ve been about three times and you can never see the same doctor even though they say make an appointment to see me after your blood test. Anyway the last time I went was partly

Week 7 Run 2
Week 7 run 2, Along the canal, and fairly flat, up quite early to run before it got too hot, but already weather station showing 19 degrees, at least the canal is quite sheltered. Managed to increase distance by about 100meters, not a lot but considering I forgot to take painkillers for stump beforehand

does an rls friendly diuretic exist?
I have bad swollen legs which my GP thinks is caused by excess fluid It probably comes from a combination of my RLS medicines ( Pregabalin 250 mg and 2mg Neupro patch) plus a recent knee replacement operation. To get rid of this excess fluid my GP upped my normal 50mg Spironolactone dose to 75 mg.

2 year old Toddler with RLS
Hi there! Came here out of desperation. My soon to be 2 year old has had terrible sleep since day 1. He is extremely hyperactive, and would be up in the middle of the night for hours. We tried every natural syrup or solution recommended by doctors. Finally saw a neurologist and he suggested RLS. We are

Zoladex and HRT
I was diagnosed with endo in 2021, it was removed from my abdominal wall but my pain never fully left. Just 4 months later my symptoms returned and the pain was as bad as it was pre-op. Here I am, 19 months later in significant daily pain. I am signed off sick from work for the 3rd week, and it seems

More Methadone?
I have had RLS for decades with real relief pretty well only from the now - forbidden Pramipexole. I have been on Methadone 15 mg at bedtime for about 2 years now which has been pretty good, allowing me approximately 5 hours of sleep some nights. Recently it has worked less well. I’ve been up frequently

Enlarged Prostate Medication
Good afternoon. I’ve been recently diagnosed with enlarged prostate. My general health is not good as I had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair and also, last year was diagnosed with Heart Failure. I’ve also got Severe Spinal Stenosis which has returned following a Failed Laminectomy Spine Operation

Nerve compression after surgery for Cauda Equina
Ho- just wondered if anyone had been through a similar thing. A relative had surgery for Cauda Equina which failed. She had had a new nerve compression- due to pressure from centralised disc - but she has been refused surgery despite the excruciating pain. She has tried several neuropathic painkillers

pain relief - amytriptyline
I was really struggling with back, hip and
leg
pain
. Ibuprofen and paracetamol did nothing - I think that’s because it’s nerve pain but I’m not sure. I spoke to my GP and she prescribed amitriptyline and so far it’s been brilliant.

Has my PMR gone?
I am not getting any
pain
in my right
leg
and am wondering if my PMR has given up and gone or whether the medication I am on would hide it. I have been feeling very tired for the past few weeks and wonder if I should ask my Dr to check if my adrenals have woken up after nine years.
