see a neurologist Wednesday and I'm going to talk about this medication currently I'm on 150mg pregabalin and 30mg codeine phosphate at lunch time and 300mgs plus 2 x 30mgs of codeine phosphate at bed time if the neurologist agrees has any one got thoughts on dates I should be dropping etc

If Buprenorphine is prescribed, you can make a straight switch from the codeine.However, you will need to reduce the pregabalin very slowly to avoid withdrawals. I dropped 150mg of pregabalin by 6.25mg every week. Vety slow. I cut 25mg pills and split the powder into quarters and dropped a quarter a week. It took ages but I had zero side effects or withdrawal symptoms. GPs will always tell you to stop more quickly, but there are too many reports of severe withdrawal symptoms that we shouldn't ignore.

Start Buprenorphine slowly. 0.2mg or 0.4mg the first night to see how it goes.

Hiya. I cut down from Pregabalin 300mg to 150mg overnight (which my RLS specialist told me to do). I had no side effects (and indeed have gone from Pregabalin 450mg to 300mg overnight previously, again with no side effects).

My RLS specialist would not prescribe Buprenorphine but instead has given me Oxycodone. I now take Pregabalin 150mg and Oxycodone 5mg every night. Only day three so far, so too early to give results.
