What to expect with first ENT after TBI
Husband still has dry blood coming from left ear (more) since March, Tinnitus reason for ENT referral made in July, but first app Hearing Test then consultant week later. But with dried blood still in the way, i dont see how the hearing test can give clear result. Will they arrange to remove blockage

Anxiety from playing the waiting game.
Hi all, thought I'd join the group for some needed support, I was referred to ENT Jan of 2020 for raging tinnitus in right ear, hearing test on 21st October showed mild hearing loss in right ear, symptoms are tinnitus with distorted hearing, bouts of headaches and on and off pain from ear down

Family Support Groups for learning disabilities
Having experienced several problems with access to my son who lives in assisted living and has severe learning difficulties I wondered if anyone has any contacts of any Family Support Groups in Wales that could offer advice and support to us in times of need. Since the lockdown we have found ourselves

She has
learning
disabilities
and anxiety, lately she has developed signs of OCD and won't touch anything she sees as 'unsafe', which amounts to everything. She hasn't been out of house since last Nov and I really need to get her extra help other than GP and medications.

My life my choice
Where is equality, diversity and inclusion in

Brighton virtual 10k aka “BM10k [TheEdit]” run report
We were both running for the Brighton based charity called Speak Out which is an advocacy charity for people with
learning
disabilities
. The weather was perfect for running 13 degrees, sunny intervals, with a 12 knot NNW wind which shifted to a headwind for a kilometre or two.

Can't get my brother to helping needs
My brother who has
learning
disabilities
and autism was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2008 he has been on 25 kg since then. His case so his GP said it's a little strange because when he has a blood test his blood results show that he should be taking more levothyroxine.

He then dropped the bombshell that he suspected a tumour. Eventually got to see my doctor who referred

Decision between in person or virtual?
Due to the severity of his

, the school states he should attend in person school.

Adult Learning Disabilities back to college
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well during this time. I’m just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with their sibling/sons/daughters going back to college? My sister is 30 and doesn’t have a lot of options for activities. I’ve found a course I think would be perfect but I’m just conscious
