Hi people, I'm new this new, and very anxious as I have no understanding of my condition and would love some info so I know I'm not being dramatic! My 6 yr old will be tested at the beginning of the year for special needs/learning disabilities this next month.
She is getting tested for ADHD/ADD through her doctors office this coming month as well. I'm curious if I should hold off on the assessment through the school or continue with both. I believe we should have kept her in Kinder last year but due to COVID. They decided to send her to 1st anyways. I dont

I have pulsatile tinnitus 24/7. Was referred to a hospital Doctor from my own surgery for an assessment. Taken the hearing test and all ok. With it being "pulsatile" should I have undergone further tests? The Doctor said "tinnitus can pulsate sometimes but there is nothing to be done; no surgery or

New here, ringing keeps getting worse
Hi, I am new here, and my tinnitus keeps getting worse and I don't have a clue what to do. I have had a low ringing in my right ear as long as I can remember, it always sounded like a low Wifi router or something. I used to only hear it at night, and originally assumed it was someone doing works on the

Hi. started experiencing symptoms in left ear about 8 weeks ago. Developed into a constant high pitched whine that never stops. I think its starting in right ear as well. Driving me slowly mad. Also have a strange sense of what I can only describe as pressure and heat in ear and around it. This has

Defeated thoughts & some questions
It takes me longer with my assignments (even longer than the three extra days I get due to my
learning
disabilities
) so I feel like I am always struggling to get through. I feel tons of shame because of my disabilities and that I can't do the work as fast.

I have nothing left...
I’m pretty sure I have some level of autism on top of my other
learning
disabilities
, because I can never spot when my attempts at being a good person and doing the right thing will lead to being kicked in the teeth.

Tinnitus after microsuctioning
Hi there. I'm a recent tinnitus sufferer, having been struggling to cope with it for just over a week. Am REALLY hoping this is a temporary affliction, but the more I read, the more I see it can easily be permanent. Which doesn't help with the stress! So, the brief history: Had both my ears microsuctioned

I also have a job I love supporting people with

in a residential home. But to get to the point my friend is pregnant. Initially I was so excited by the news. But then on deeper reflection it lead me to think about my own traumatic labour and subsequent psychotic episode.

Xanax withdrawal causing my T. Stops completely when I take it!
Advice and support? Hello. My tinnitus started one month ago. First in my left ear and now both (mainly still the left). Mainly a low hiss, but sometimes a tone. I have had two hearing tests and have no hearing problems. My tinnitus was mainly with me, but I had some days when it disappeared completely

MRI wait and telephone consultation. Long wait is good?
Hi everyone! I had my MRI on the 6th of September, as i’ve had tinnitus for i think a year now and after my hearing test i was told i had mild hearing loss in my left ear. Told it was protocol to have the MRI done to rule things out. I received a phone call from the clinic to book me in for a telephone
