Naltrexone : for chronic inflammation, Hashimotos, etc
Low dose Naltrexone was introduced to me by one of the wisest ladies I know. Bolt, it is my hope sharing this will be a small way of reciprocating the things you have introduced to me. I think it will be of interest to you. Or maybe you already take it? I haven’t had time to read today but am posting

Liver enzyme question.
I also had high
ldl
cholesterol (yet I am an extremely healthy eater, exercise regularly and at the low end of my healthy weight range. So my cholesterol was a little surprising.) I was drinking heavily up until January when I completely quit. Thank you so much in advance for any input.

Blood test results - am I interpreting them correctly?
I managed to get an appointment with a private endo next week, so I did some blood tests. The results are: TSH < 0.01 (range 0.27 - 4.2 mU/L) FT4 14.2 pmol/L (range 12 - 22 pmol/L) FT3 4.6 pmol/L (range 3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L) Cholesterol 5.2 mmol/L (should be <5) HDL 1.57 mmol/L (should be >1.2) non-HDL 3.66

Dr Bredesens Protocol for MSA and LDN
Hi, My father has recently been diagnosed with MSA. I have been looking for therapies or treatments that may be beneficial for him and was wondering if anyone has tried following Dr Bredesens protocol or a ketogenic diet? Also, does anyone have any experience using Low dose Naltrexone for MSA symptoms

Not All Statins Are Equal
The table shows the reduction in
LDL
(bad cholesterol) for different statins and doses. Before you ask I am on 40mg Atorvastatin as my student liver (🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺) couldn't cope with 80mg!

Vasculitis vs arteriosclerosis, getting pregnant after a CABG and statin/diet questions!
Hi! I’m 34 and have just had a CABG, I’m 6 weeks post op and feel almost back to normal. Yes, I know, I’m young and have bounced! They think that my coronary arteries were damaged by vasculitis I (might) have had when I was 19, it wasn’t diagnosed at the time as I had just classic viral symptoms although

Skipping meds? Higher cholesterol due to humira?
Additionally, I was surprised to see a significant increase in cholesterol (and
LDL
) after starting humira injections a year ago. Wondering if anyone has experienced the same. Your sharing and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. Mymymy
