Radiation induced atherosclerosis?
I have historically low total cholesterol and
LDL
levels so no concerns but after a CT and ultrasonic for subacute obstruction I learned I had moderate to severe abdominal aortic atherosclerosis. Anybody else dealt with this problem?

any tests for Familial hypocholesterolemia?
Cholesterol blood tests from 5 years ago to date all show HDL at 1 or lower with
LDL
over 5.5-6.0. he has slightly high blood pressure, thyroid is slightly hypo but not enough for sub clinical. Possible testosterone deficiency but needs testing, he is following that up.

Help with understanding these results
I have experienced more and more “ectopic” heartbeats (I have long standing paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, diagnosed 20+ years ago, as an accidental finding, and which has never bothered me until the last year or so) My total cholesterol is 6 mol/l, although I have healthy

Almost 50% of Global Dementia Cases May Be Preventable (High Cholesterol)
According to the authors of the current report,
there is "new compelling evidence" that untreated vision loss and elevated low-density lipoprotein (
) cholesterol are also risk factors for dementia.

could olaparib raise LDL cholesterol?
My good cholesterol is in good range while the
LDL
bad cholesterol is in the upper end of the "high" range at 175.22. There is only a very high range after this. i last took my lipid profile a year and 3 months back when my
LDL
was 112; just slightly higher than the reference good range.

Source of NDT or T3?
I’ve had elevated
LDL
for years, and even with high dosage of Rosuvastain + Ezetimibe, I couldn’t get my
LDL
down. My CK, eGFR and liver values went up, and I started experiencing muscle pain.

Latest Blood Test results, Please advise
LDL
3.6 mmol/L Upto 3.0 7. Non-HDL Cholesterol 4.1 mmol/L < 3.8 8. HDL Cholesterol 0.8 mmol/L 0.9 - 1.5 Can someone please comment on my T3 being too high? Is it because I should have split the dose the day before and I didn't. I'm just worried my endo might reduce the T3.

Haven’t posted here in a while. I don’t know how to ask my GP about starting a statin as a preventive or even if it’s right.
However I want to be preventative for myself because you know we all want to live a long life and want to start a form of statin even just ezetimibe which has very little side effects to just push my
LDL
/ApoB down while I then start the Pauling method.

Statin drugs with ITP
Because of high
LDL
I started taking a statin drug a couple of months ago. I was shocked to see my platelets dropped from about 112 to 90 in just a couple of months. Is anyone else on this list on statins, and did it affect your platelett levels?

Amla V Levothyroxine
Amla can apparently thin the blood and reduce
LDL
without the potential side effects. Has anyone here had any experience of Amla. Your replies greatly appreciated.
