Whole food/buffeted vit c and iron absorption?
Hi everyone I’m taking iron tablets at the moment and have been taking them with a 500mg dissolvable ascorbic acid tablet as I can’t swallow tablets but it’s causing me some problems with uncomfortable reflux in my throat. I have low stomach acid which I’m assuming is the cause of my iron deficiency

Ashermans syndrome, endometrium 2.5mm, poor responder, trying ICSI one last time for surrogacy
Hi everyone, I’ve started a short protocol this week 450 Ovaleap to combine with Menopur from day 8 to try and get a blastocyst to freeze for potential surrogacy After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange

Let’s start the week with one of my most favorite combination of powerful health beneficial veggies dish! 🌱😋❤️
Hello everyone, hope you have a great start of the week! 🤗 Today for Lunch, I sauté sliced Mushrooms and bitter melons in sesame oil and seeds with plenty of garlics and green onions. It is a simple dish but packed with health benefits and I enjoyed these gifts of Mother Nature. To me, that’s the true

Unable to get out of hypothyroid state no matter what!
i have quite the story. In 2018 I (mistakingly, I didn’t know how to properly lose weight then) crash dieted and dropped a ton of weight over a year. Because of this seriously extended caloric restriction, my body really got upset. I became hypothyroid with a low Total T3, low Free T4, but still a normal

Help with payment's
Hi, thanks for letting me join your group, I have a query, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C back in December last year, but we've found I contracted it back in 1979 when I was given contaminated blood after a transfusion. I have received stage 1 payments but think it should be back dated to April 2016

Book "Let Food be your medicine" by Don Colbert, MD
He covers a number of common illnesses. I only summarise what I consider the main points from the section on cancer with the hope of stimulating discussion. He does not claim to cure cancer and says "but it does help, and we have helped hundreds of patients treat (manage or control) their cancer".

Does anyone follow with an integrative oncologist? I am recently diagnosed, not requiring treatment at this time and would like to optimize my health and seek out natural approaches to treatment as long as I can. I have been researching nutrition and supplements to help in this battle. Does anyone

Eating Fruits when you have Diabetes
I came across a very recent article on "How many servings of fruits a day can lower risk of type 2 diabetes?" written by Lakshita Jain, certified clinical dietician and a lecturer. The link is given at the bottom of the post. While it was in my mind to make an exclusive post on fruits, but this article

Cirrhosis and hepatitis
Hi Everyone, My brother in law is in the hospital with alcohol cirrhosis and hepatitis C. Without a transplant he will not survive. Does anyone know if the hepatitis is a significant factor for receiving a transplant? Or is it mostly the precursor to cirrhosis? My husband had a liver transplant in September
