Not sure it's IBS but. . .
I thought it was due to constipation for a few days but last might the
laxatives
kicked in. It was so painful I thought I was going to pass out or be sick. Now i feel more tender and swollen. Is there ANYTHING I can do?

7 weeks post op total hysterectomy!
I cannot go to the toilet without
laxatives
, or litres, and I mean litres of water.... I've seen several doctors since the op, they keep telling me to take
laxatives
and give it time! It's my body and I know something isn't right!

An interesting fact about vitamin A and thyroid funtion.
Antibiotics,
laxatives
, fat substitutes and cholesterol-lowering drugs interfere with vitamin-A absorption. - See more at: http://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/abcs-of-nutrition/vitamin-primer/#sthash.a9nC5LJD.dpuf Interesting bit about poor thyroid function and the conversion of carotenes from

Saw my endo today
I told her better, she interrupted me, what I wanted to say was "better then I was the last time I saw her but still getting heart palpitations and chest pain, tired and breathless on little exertion" but I did manage to say, I have chronic constipation, she said I may need to continue using

Still constipated
It takes about 3 weeks to get an appointment so I guess I'll just have to suffer and chuck more useless
laxatives
down my neck.

I wish my mum had told me I was beautiful
If you are struggling, or sitting at your laptop right now, alone and reading this, with a blade in your hand, your fingers near your mouth or a pile of empty food wrappers and a box of
laxatives
. Please stop and just think of yourself as a child. Look at that child.

Cant move forward
My GP has prescribed me with Macragol, but my Councillor told me that I shouldn't take
laxatives
as I will come to dependent on them. I have been taking them for 3 years but REALLY want to stop.

OMG need to find sympathetic doctor who will not think I am crazy & diagnose me
Long term issues with chronic constipation but never has a firmed stool as on
laxatives
. Ferritin 17.5 B12 234 - Drs notes said this was not severely deficient by "insufficient" and should be investigated further.

New type of pain?
My bowels don't work normally any more, so I have to take
laxatives
. I was taking 15mg of bisacodyl every 4 days in order to go but those days were awful.

Natural laxatives
Over the years I have tried many
laxatives
both prescription and over the counter, but have found this product very good. I do not get any griping pain. It contains Magnesium, Marshmallow, Slippery Elm, Cape Aloe, Rhubarb and Triphala.

New to this...
The doc did give me
laxatives
which explains the diarrhoea-but it's all weird to me. Had a laparoscopy in May and some adhesions were broken down just to make me more comfortable for my wedding at the end of May. Thankfully the wedding was endo free.

Bowel issues - urgent help needed
I use glycerine suppositories if I get impacted which work well if I've taken
laxatives
but do nothing if I haven't - clearly my bowel is sluggish and not moving things through, so there's nothing for the suppositories to work on if I haven't taken
laxatives
.

Yep, Doctors are useless.
Told me to basically take
laxatives
to soften my stools because it was probably my bowel...there has never been any problems with my stools or constipation.

For the Record
This federal agency suggests that patients who suffer from OIC try stool softeners, emollient agents and stimulant
laxatives
to make bowel movements easier. But the first step in the plan entails a candid talk with their health care providers.

Help.....still bloated...
I have already tried taking
laxatives
, which definitely emptied me out (I was using the bathroom all day) and my waist was TINY yet I was still bloated. I went to the ER about a week after bloating had started, they did a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis.

I just wish the pain would stop!
During my stay they they gave me 4 enemas and various amounts of strong
laxatives
to clear my bowel because it was blocked.
