During my stay they they gave me 4 enemas and various amounts of strong laxatives to clear my bowel because it was blocked.

My constipation is not the case of the stool difficult to pass, but I only go a tiny amount, even strong laxatives do not remove most of the build up. I believe the anxiety has just made my bowl say NO, I am not going to work until you calm down, ( easier said than done!

I have been taking two laxatives every evening - aloe ones that are very natural and usually fantastic but it is not working.

The specialist has now said I'm taking a large dose of oral laxatives to soften it all as it looks like concrete and then start the enama again tomorrow feeling pretty sick already but it needs to be done as I'm in awful pain.

I've been taking laxatives but in still getting pain and I feel like it's not moving, I'm kind of convinced I have some kind of blockage but awaiting a colonoscopy. I have been in awful pain today and called Gp and she has given me oramorph.

Can I bake a cake for next week with laxatives in it, just for these know all = know nothings? Yes, they will all be getting a gluten free toblerone cake and a pamphlet educate these stupid women.

After my ct scan ,endoscopy and colonoscopy for intense stomach burn ,I was given laxatives and it did stop burn.

My doctors have told me I need to accept this and get on with life taking laxatives for the rest of my life (which don't really work for me). I have close family history of small bowel cancer (mother) and ulcerative colitis (father). I am very stressed.

I have been suffering from constipation so the GI doctor gave me some laxatives to try. I took the laxative and had diarrhea and took it again last night.

I read up on some laxatives but they seem to cause a lot of cramping and I am already in knots! Any suggestions...ideas, I will hear you out. Thanks..

So he gave me a routine to try, laxatives, enemas, magnesium citrate. I seen blood on the toilet paper follow by blood in my stool a few days later. I noticed the blood AFTER taking the laxative and it was IN my stool not on the toilet paper so I went back to him today.

Was fobbed off with laxatives by so called specialist.now only have pain went eating although have constant feeling of needing bowel movement and when I get there only excessive wind and yellow mucus plus sometimes blood from internal piles. Any suggestions would be helpful.

How can it be that I'm taking laxatives everyday, putting 10-20 drops and ointments in my eyes everyday and getting b12 inejctions and a bunch of other things and they can't tell me why?! I'm 20 yet apparently this is all fine.

He ordered me to do a clean out which consists of a bunch of different enemas, laxatives etc. I took the magnesium drink and didn't have mucus but the next time I took it I got sick so I stopped.

Went back to my doctor who prescribed laxatives which did nothing! Have been suffering from sciatic pain, primarily on my left side for nearly 2 years, only during my period at first but now happens regularly throughout the month, same with pain during bowel movements and even passing wind.

I explained that I use either laxatives, enema or a colonic irrigation kit every day or at least 4 times a week. His report said I had abdominal problems and use an enema once a month!!! Once a month??? So what happens for the rest of the month? Don't i go to the toilet??

One idea that occurred to me was to take strong laxatives (such as Moviprep) on the day before I am due in court, so that my digestive system will be completely empty. There are two problems with this.
