Advice on medication
Over the last couple of weeks I have had pains in my stomach and for longer than that regular bladder problems. Always feeling I need to go to the toilet. I am on 3.5 mg of prednisolone and am wondering if it has anything to do with the other pills I am taking each day. 1 -20 mg omeprazole, 1 - 1000

The 'Brain Energy Gap' and its possible implication on the progress of PD.
Has anyone else seen the work of Professor Stephen Cunnane on the 'brain energy gap' and its implications for PD, Alzheimers and cognitive impairment? I've put a link to one of his talks below, but to summarise: - Cognitive impairment and brain health in PD, Alzheimers, is due in part to an 'brain

Has anyone found Mebeverine/Buscopan helpful?
Following a Laparoscopy, it is highly likely that I have Adenomyosis. One of the hardest symptoms is the uncomfortable bowel issues. I get bloating and constipation. I am wondering if it is worth trying Mebeverine or Buscopan. I've tried dietary and peppermint oil but neither really helped.Thank you

Essential Lavender oil helps me
There is an article and study about using
lavender
oil
on RLS patients who have benefited. Thought I would share and hope this can some of you, it's worth trying. Not a cure but it has really helped me.

Does anyone on similar meds to me for RA have Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
I've been on rituximab and Lefludomide for about ten years and all is reasonably stable. However over about five years I've developed IBS symptoms - wont repeat them here. They do limit what I can do and wonder if anyone else has suffered from them. I'm not convinced the meds are to blame incidentally

Ropinirole, Pramipexole and etc
Hi community, It's been years since I last wrote here as my RLS is quite mild. Few years ago it was quite under control even mild episodes. I used to take 0.25mg of Ropinirole (Adartel) in case of episode and it would work very well. I moved from London to Finland few years ago, and last year I started

Unusual additional symptoms
I have had Fibromyalgia for a number of years, and compared to some sufferers manage reasonably well. The worst of the problems are pins and needles in my legs and feet, and extreme fatigue from time to time. I take Amitriptyline at night, and also evening primrose oil and Q10, which do help. I also

Symptoms suddenly taking a turn for the worse
Hello everyone. I am new to the forum, and have some questions to ask, but also want to share my RLS story, as well as some things that I have found helpful in living with RLS. I have had RLS for over 40 years. At first it was fairly easily controlled with a good run or long walk, and later with magnesium

Need a bit of tlc
Have had peppermint tea and inhaled
oil
of
lavender
and done deep breathing and been bathing my forehead with cold water. I think the morphine is starting to kick in so good night all. Thanks for being there. Such a comfort that I can write the above without bothering my loved ones.

Endo diet and bowel symptoms
I'm currently trying to deal with a return of bowel symptoms which most like seem to be due to bowel endo (I have a RV lesion plus a second nodule on the bowel). I've had a hysterectomy and oophorectomy and have already had excision. I had an MRI earlier this year which showed adhesions between the rectum

I have been on Levothyroxine now for about 6 weeks. My results are as follows: I got tested at 8.50 am and hadn't taken any medication from the morning before at 6am. I ate nothing before test. I felt good for a few days but feel as bad as ever again - just low mood and tired and no energy. I was

Purpura on w&w?
Since diagnosis 3 years ago, while on W&W, I have had presume purpura spots come and go on my left arm, but today, after reaching in to tomato cages to capture the best and presumably scraping my arm, I have developed a whole big area of what I assume to be purpura, spread over about 3 inches and not

on going heartburn with esophagitis
I have had an endoscopy that found chronic eosphogstis. I have tried three PPIs ie omeprozole, lanzopropal and the one something like esomprozole. Other than watching what you eat and drink , have you found any natural solutions like peppermint oil or the like. Tried ginger, slippery elm but no relief

Olive oil guys… in a dark can… best you can afford. My ontological perspective..:I’ve always seen that OL and fish/ oil as medicine. My own researcher bias; my own HDL is now over 2 and I eat a supper every night full of crap.
