Suggest you check your cortisol levels via saliva test but HRT may help too.

Is that a blood test?

No saliva test - 4 samples over a day

Yes, but only the testosterone part. Testo is not on licence for women in the UK, so I had to argue for it with my GP, but more women have access these days. I put a tiny bit of gel on the skin once a week or just when I feel my anxiety getting worse and it helps. Testosterone also reduces during peri and menopause and thats why anxiety kicks in. Dr Newson health clinic has some good resources online to research further. I hope that helps.

yes I found oestrogen and progesterone helped me with my anxiety. It takes time to get the balance right but it was a life saver for me post hysterectomy at 35 years old I was a mess to start with when my hrt wasn’t high enough but when it was it all just clicked into place and I felt human again so much better mentally it’s been a life saver for me. I take a combination of spray oestrogen max dose and pill progesterone I tried lots of different combinations but after about 6 months life was a lot better xx
