Chronic kidney disease
My recent GP-ordered blood tests have revealed chronic kidney disease. I have been told that an appointment will not be necessary. My creatine count is very high this time but B12 etc. are fine. Should I worry; everything online says this is serious.

I am now on Bisoprolol 2.5mg, Edoxaban60mg, Entresto24mg twice daily, and new one Spironolactone25g. My problem is that my already low BP plummets every time a new drug is introduced or an increase

My GCA Update
I just got done with my MRIs and MRAs, so we’ll see if results show much. My blood test came back with sed rate normal (always has been) and C-reactive prrotein headed down. It went from normal in PMR, to 1.3 and then 2.0 in GCA. Now at 0.8, so barely high and heading in the right direction. Still feeling

Intrinsic factor antibody
I'm posting on here as I been advised to. I've just been back to my GP because I had a blood test done the other week for intrinsic factor antibody. I had a result of 3.66 which I thought was positive but my GP just said it's negative ? I had the test done because my vitamins b12 is 211.

I currently am undergoing evaluation for a kidney transplant a major transplantation center, Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. I passed the first stage by the transplant committee. I am wondering about how patients who have received a kidney transplant deal with transportation to their center

I am now 24 years out from my kidney transplant. I remember it as if it were yesterday! Getting the "call" at 2:30 AM and having to be at transplant center by 5:30...and then not taken to surgery till 3:00 PM. Had a lot of time to "stress out". Picture is of me hiking in Arches National Park in September

GFR question
Hi everyone, I'm a 59 year old male. I have high blood pressure and diabetes. A few years ago my GP said that I was dehydrated and need to drink more water. Didn't look at my test results other than to keep taking my meds for high blood pressure and diabetes. Fast forward to around 6 months ago I

Lab work
Got my labs yesterday and. Was happy to see how well they were. ALB is still low but coming up. Kt/v was 2.41 not sure how they do that on hemo but I’ll take it. Potassium and phosphorus are in range as is hemoglobin. My PTH was low so I need to stop the calciteol. Since my BP at dialysis on Thursday
