Got my labs yesterday and. Was happy to see how well they were. ALB is still low but coming up. Kt/v was 2.41 not sure how they do that on hemo but I’ll take it. Potassium and phosphorus are in range as is hemoglobin.
My PTH was low so I need to stop the calciteol. Since my BP at dialysis on Thursday was low I stopped the second BP med and it’s better.
My cholesterol has come way down too so I’m happy about that. It’s such a tight rope with eating… need to gain 10-15 lbs and the food higher in calories could cause cholesterol to rise.

Unless you eat fried foods every day, your cholesterol is not going to be affected. Try natural fats such as avocado, olive and nut butters for weight gain without cholesterol issues.
Yes no butter is best olive oil is great but lots of scams out on olive oil. Know it is real. Cold pressed usually is… no shell fish very high. It is so hard!!
Right now I'm more worried about my being so underweight. The butter adds needed calories. I already take 2 cholesterol drugs. My weight however dropped to 83 pounds and I have to gain 10-15 to get back on the transplant list. I eat as many high calorie foods as I can.
Sound like you are doing much better on hemo than pd I’m glad it working for you. That is a good kt/v score . I would be interested to hear how they figure that out on hemo.
