This Queen is thankful like Sunday morning
Here is the link a Sunday morning song. Easy= https://youtu.be/7XcTyEKSnYg I hope everyone is doing well today. It's a gray one where I am but the fall leaves will pop. This song is one my dad introduced me to. I'm doing well. I don't get to write on here as much as I'd like. Work and school are capturing

Cystoscopy next week - risks of procedure?
Hi folks. After decades of UTI infections, I've been having daily urethral pain that comes & goes but no infection. A Queen's Respect
Of course I have to give respect to the true Queen. So sad to see her go. I was going to say she was like the grandmother I never saw or got a call from but she was always there dressed to the 9s and had a waving hello for everyone. Aside from that I've been tired as a pot hound after a morning bunny

My IBS lasting over a couple of weeks. Worried.
Hi everyone. Just need to talk to someone who understands. Ive had IBS since my 20s and I’m 84 now. On and off over the years mostly caused by stress. This latest attack started with really bad Diarrhea and then days of no BM . Saw Dr and was given macrogol sachets which worked over the next few days

Bilateral rotary cuff in shoulders after coming off pred....
After 3.5 years tapering pred I have been left with bilateral rotary cuff which is excruciating. I have had it a year now and finally have an MRI Monday. Looking for information
I had my kidney transplant April, 2019. In the last couple of months I have had issues with being so cold that I need a coat or a heating pad. Then after about half an hour, I am so warm it's almost as if I have a horrible sunburn, especially on my back. Is this from the anti-rejection meds?

Dr Nicholas Vogelzang has died
Well known and well respected Dr Vogelzang of Las Vegas died at the age of 72. He’d recently retired and was in hospice care. What a loss for the Prostate Cancer community. RIP and thank you for all you did to help.

protecting against infection
Since I had my kidney transplant 2 years ago during Covid and I’m over 70 years old,I have had to be particularly careful about getting infections. Now that Covid is subsiding and people are going back to normal, I’m not sure how careful I need to continue to be. Before transplant, I had a robust immune

Evusheld not foolproof...be cautious still
I contracted Covid a few days ago after getting Evusheld twice... the last 300mg just about 2 weeks ago. I think one should not get complacent with Evusheld. It is not foolproof obviously and lessens severity I assume but does not prevent infection. I got Pavloxid which I suppose (lower dose because

Preemptive kidney transplant experience and results
Everywhere I read, everyone agrees that a preemptive transplant from a living donor is the best you can hope for when you have stage 5 kidney failure. I would like to hear about your experience if you went through transplant before needing dyalisis. What were your GFR, your BUN and your creatinine

Simple kidney cyst
Hi freids, Any one have ideas about simple kidney cyst? Last week ultrasound report showed simple (single) kidney cyst on my left kidney without any symptoms. My serum creatinine 1.3 and my urine albumin is 75 (normal range less than 30) My nephrologist says there is no need to do any thing and

Sudden rise in Tacrolimus
I received a kidney transplant in July 2021. Everything has gone swimmingly. I caught a mild case of Covid at the end of July and received a multiclonal antibody infusion. When I went for my August bloodwork, my Tacrolimus trough, which had been running 5-7, was suddenly 9.6. When I did my bloodwork
