Simple kidney cyst

Hi freids,

Any one have ideas about simple kidney cyst?

Last week ultrasound report showed simple (single) kidney cyst on my left kidney without any symptoms. My serum creatinine 1.3 and my urine albumin is 75 (normal range less than 30)

My nephrologist says there is no need to do any thing and not to worry.

I would appreciate if someone has experience to advise how to eliminate this cyst or at least reduce cyst size.

Renal cysts are extremely common and their prevalence increases with age. They are harmless anomalies that do not need any treatment. Whatever is wrong with you kidneys is not caused by the cyst. Reducing its size, which isn't really possible, will not help you one bit.
