Is Jevtana easier to tolerate than docetaxel?
I have noticed that some men on this site have had over 30 infusions of Jevtana. My husband has had completed 10 sessions of docetaxel. The last three were given with a second dose of Carboplatin. Jevtana is new to us. How is it tolerated? Why can it be given at such a high number of doses?

IMRT WITHOUT THE JELL
I'm scheduled for IMRT Radistion without the jell. Doc says the jell may push cancer microscopic cells away from the prostate. He said the cancer is about to protrude through the capsule and microsopic cancer cells could be out of the capsule and did not want to take a chance of putting the jell in and

polyp after stims
hi, Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. Done two rounds of ivf. All baseline scans clear, no polyps. After stims the scan has now shown a polyp. The polyp only seems to be there after stims. I haven’t got as far as a transfer yet. Consultant has advised a hysteroscopy (year waiting list

Increase CoQ10 during IVF
Hi all, I was hoping for some wisdom from you all! About to start my second cycle of IVF in the next few days. Have been taking CoQ10 (Ubiquinol - 300mg per day) since last year, but I was wondering if it might be helpful to up this dose whilst I’m injecting. My thinking was that it’s suppose to increase

Coming off IVF meds
Good morning ladies, Approaching my 12th week this Friday. Have been told to come off all meds (except the steroids) I am really nervous. Doctors are saying the placenta takes over between 10-12 weeks but how do they know that? I had a scan last Thursday (before intralipids) and all was ok.

Some good news at last. Saw EP for 6 week follow up, 2 weeks ago, reduced Bisoprolol to 1.25mg but continue with heart failure meds and booked echocardiogram which I had yesterday. Sonographer was lovely, very chatty, I had my previous report from Late January 24 with me, Ejection Fraction 28%, severe

Hi there, I have been diagnosed 2 years ago with a rear benign condition in my peritoneum. Because of this, I have MRIs and CT scans every 4-5 months. In January, my doctors found out a new lesion in my liver. I had a MRI if my liver in March. They come back to me and said that the lesion not changed

Jaw clenching + Levothyroxine
Hi all, Apologies for the long post. I'd like some advice please regarding jaw clenching when on Levothyroxine. Does anyone else have this issue? I am currently on 87.5mic Teva levothyroxine. I have asked my pharmacy for a different brand to see if it helps, but they tell me that they can only get

Cyst delaying ivf - any experiences?
Has anyone had an ovarian cyst delay your ivf cycle? Looking for anyone to share their experiences, specifically how long did the cyst take to go away and what did you do to help it reduce? I’ve been doing down regulation for two weeks now, had my baseline scan last Friday 26/04 when I was suppose

Day 1: 5 fertilised
Hey! I'm going through my first ever IVF. Friday had a scan which showed 11 follicles, had my eggs collected on Monday - they got 8. I'm trying to work out why I 'lost' 3. Had the phone call this morning and 5 fertilised which I do understand is between the 60-70% rate the clinic says. I'm so nervous
