I was hoping for some wisdom from you all! About to start my second cycle of IVF in the next few days. Have been taking CoQ10 (Ubiquinol - 300mg per day) since last year, but I was wondering if it might be helpful to up this dose whilst I’m injecting. My thinking was that it’s suppose to increase the energy in cells and so might give the developing eggs a boost? But I may have completely misunderstood! Would appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks!

From my understanding, it’s takes effect best when started three months in advance of egg collection due to the three month maturation cycle of an egg (similar to sperm). I took 600mg for an about three years consistently. I can’t see how it would do any harm to up your intake now though? X
400-600mg is the recommended dose. Additional great supplements for egg quality are NAC, Omega 3, and Vitamin D. These supplements should be started at least 3 months prior to have any effect. I don't think a few days before would make a difference.
