Terrible stomach cramps on heart medication

Hi everyone, my husband had a heart attack six weeks ago, he was treated very quickly and had two stents put in. He’s been taking his medication and all seemed to be fine, but last weekend and this, he’s had terrible stomach cramps that have lasted around 12 hours. He’s been throwing up too. They cramps were so bad that we initially thought he was having another heart attack! He’s been checked and it’s definitely not his heart, so we think it must be his medication.

He’s taking Atorvastin 80mg, Bisoprolol Fumarate 2.5mg, Ramopril 2.5mg (twice a day), Omeprazole 20mg, Brilique Ticagrelor 90mg (twice a day) and aspirin 75mg. (Sorry, long list!!)

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone here has had stomach cramps due to any of these medications? All advice gratefully received!

Oh thanks! That’s really good to know, I’ll tell my husband. He went to the GP but she was pretty useless

If he is on asprin make sure it's the Gastro aspirin. Not soluble. That was the cause of my problems with the stomach. Terrible indegestion and stomach cramps. Also Bisoprolol is not good either.
