B12 and D3
I only take T3 first thing in the morning, & am about to embark on a proper regime to take D3 and B12. I also take Calcium with magnesium, boron & vit K for my bones, and I take high dose vit C. Is it ok to take all these supplements fairly close together? Thanks.

Vitamin D
New study below. This is a horrible paper. It takes as a given that vitamin D increases PCa risk (see yesterday's post on vitamin D & mortality). & then piggybacks on the discredited belief that testosterone [T] causes PCa, to ask: Does D increase T? Indeed, there is an association, & thus we have

I posted a little while ago about checking my Vit D. and had a wonderful response from all you good people out there. I took the test and have received my results which came back as "adequate" and gave me the numbers which I googled for confirmation of how to proceed. As this adequate result is just

Hi My 37 yr old (very fit) son had a DVT in his leg last year and after blood tests he was told he had cardiolipin antibodies and Hughes Syndrome. He hasn't seen an APS specialist and is just on daily aspirin and quite well really, so is reluctant to take it any further while he's coping ok. (not sure

Supplements (Hashi's)
Hi all. I am about to buy some supplements to hopefully help with symptoms of Hashi's. I was diagnosed approx one year ago and on B&R therapy. I had an awful flare last week and really want to help myself and my body be able to deal with this better in the future and also to protect myself. I wondered

Atrial Fibrilation in Australia
I have had AF since 1996 and have used Warfarin (Coumadin) for the same amount of time. I live in Queensland Australia and we have an organization called QML control. (Queensland Medical Laboratories.) My GP issues a request to QML and they take over from the GP. So no more GP visits. QML has their own

Hello. l'm a coeliac sufferer with pernicious anaemia living in Canada. l'm heading back (with my battle armour firmly mounted!) to my GP tomorrow. l'm going to ask her to check my iron, folates (both of which she previously said were low but of no concern) as l'm convinced they are affecting my B12

Anticoagulant Clinic has switched me to Dalteparin from Warfarin after INR reading swing to 9.5
Hi all, just a quicky, after a coupleof months of Warfarin I've been switched back to Dalteparin as the Warfarin didn't agree with me, they recorded my INR as high as 9.5. It's supposed to be between 3.1 - 4.1 post heart surgery, pre heart surgery it was set as 2.5 - 3.5, has anyone else had such a reaction

Confused about Vitamin K
Hi I have been hearing a lot recently about how it is best to take Vitamin K with Vitamin D. I understand it should be Vitamin K2 What I am confused about from what I have read is that Vitamin K helps the blood to clot properly but I though as we got older we would not want our blood clotting because
