Is Vitamin K the Secret Key to Bone Strength?
When we think of strong bones, we usually think of milk, a rich source of the nutrients that promote bone density: calcium and vitamin D. But we may be overlooking another important nutrient created closer to home—in our own gut, to be exact. Vitamin K produced by certain types of bacteria that colonize

Anyone else have INR readings like this?
This constant swinging is ruining my life. It makes me so ill. Getting very down and depressed. My diet is as advised. I’m Lupus anticoagulant positive. Here is a graph of this months readings, last 4 tests. It has been suggested that maybe I don’t metabolise vit K properly. Anyone had that problem?

Vitamin D / K advice would be appreciated
I'm posting on behalf of my 89-year-old Dad, who is seeing an enlightened endo. Even though his Vitamin D levels are within range, they are at the lower end: 60 (50 - 125) and the endo would like him to supplement with 1,000iu. The surgery is yet to receive the letter from the endo and therefore to implement

Why take Vitamin K?
Hello all. Can anyone explain to me the reason for taking Vitamin K? I see it mentioned frequently on this and other forums but have never been advised to use it. I asked my GP yesterday and she had never heard of it in relation to GCA/PMR, and promised to look it up. She also suggested vit C to help

MSN on Supplements
I don't particularly like MSN but it comes on my feed, and there are some interesting articles. Copied and edited some points on this one (you can read it all if you want of course). Most of us will probably know and agree with much or all of it. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/familyhealth/19-warning-signs-your-vitamins-arent-going-to-work

Is miso a good food to add to your diet if you have an mpn?
Hi, I'm attempting to improve my diet to reduce my blood pressure. I bought a couple of anti inflammatory recipe books a while ago as I read on here an anti inflammatory diet is good if you have an mpn. Some of the recipes in this book include some foods I read weren't good if you have ET as they could

Vitamin K Source
I found a source for Vitamin K which appears to have the highest potency that I have seen on the market: Koncentrated K - The Original. It should also be noted that the website is quite comprehensive and well researched. https://www.k-vitamins.com/index.php?page=Home I would appreciate opinions and

Ways to increase Omega 3 , 6 And vitamin K
I have been on a journey to cure fibroid, excruciating menstrual cramps, too much menstrual blood loss and fatigue for 2 years. I suspect the root cause is hormonal. Anyway I did some research and lack of omega 3, 6 and vitamin k can cause the issues I'm dealing with. Does anyone have similar issues
