8 weeks vaccines
Hi ladies I wondered whether you had your babies vaccinated at week 8. Why did you go for it and for those that decided against vaccinations, would you mind sharing as to why? My little boy is 8 weeks tomorrow. He has had the vitamin k injection when he was born and I've had the whopping cough vaccine

Howdy folks. Does anyone drink green tea (decaf) or know of any issues ref AF/meds?I've looked on Dr Google and it mentions Warfarin being an issue, as it contains vit K, but I'm on Apixaban. Drug question please
My 81 year old mum was diagnosed with osteoporosisast sept (-3.5), they couldnt scan her hips as they have been replaced, so they did wrist and spine, but as she has had spinal fractures they said it was hard to read. They believed the spinal fractures were compression fractures, but I now believe they

Ways to add Vitamin K to your diet
I made avocado ice cream this weekend. It makes for a nice creamy dessert since I am non dairy. https://tools.myfooddata.com/nutrient-ranking-tool/vitamin-k-phylloquinone/fruits/highest it doesn’t just have to be prunes

Hi, this is my story
I broke my foot following a fall off a high kerb in August 2021 and should have been referred for a DEXA scan by the minor injuries unit who treated this, but wasn't until I asked my GP for one, following a tip off from a friend who knew that that is NHS guidance. Following the DEXA scan and recommendation

A Blip in time!
I am 74 (F) and was diagnosed in Nov, 2019 with PV and JAK 2 positive. I have been in clinical remission for 18 months and take Jakafi 10mg 2x daily. I have an allele burden of 15 currently down from 60 at diagnosis. My blood draws have been within limits for 18 months with only a blip in the blood calcium

Strontium citrate results in regaining bone
For those who ask if bone can be regained without pharmaceuticals – you may be interested in this. I am 73 and was diagnosed with osteoporosis more than a decade ago. My bone density tests have shown continual decline. My doctor urged me to take Prolia but I declined. I researched strontium citrate,

Is it harmful to take Vitamin D & not Vitamin K?
I read that taking vitamin D while not supplementing with vitamin K also can be dangerous as it can lead to calcification of the arteries. I am on warfarin and have been told that I really need to up my Vitamin D, but what do I do about vitamin K?

Sleeping w/out THC for the first time in 5 years

Fosteum Plus
My endocrinologist in Houston prescribed Fosteum Plus. It has 500mg of calcium with vitamin K and other important ingredients. Anyone taking it? You don’t hear much mentioned about it even though it’s been around several years.

Hi all So have been struggling to get a GP appointment to discuss my Thyroid meds. After MUCH sulking from me my medication was reduced to 75mcg from 100. Although I managed to hold out for 100 whilst I was on holiday- feel not so good so have been trying to get my meds reinstated. This since end

Strontium citrate
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis 10 years ago. I am now 73. I have been taking v D and calcium/magnesium and walking and gardening. But I have continued to loose BMD. I have not gone on any medication because I am reluctant to take a drug that interferes with the body's natural bone remodelling process
