What lockdown has done for my PMR and arthritis!!
Except for my 10 minutes bursts every hour in the mornings I am afraid I find myself sitting/reclining for too long for the rest of the day. The result is "I have FAR less pain than I have had for ages"!!! They say "exercise, exercise, exercise"! I can't win can I??

Does anyone have experience of Osteoarthritis at a young age in the UK?
Hi all, At 15 I tore my ACL playing rugby and had it replaced - few months ago I was having issues with my leg locking regularly and pain around my knee cap, while at my work as a postman. After seeing a physio and being refereed for an MRI they discovered that my knee had arthritis and the ligament

Arthritis
I missed two arthritis blood appointments and therefore the nurses stopped my methotrexate injections- I only realised when it was time for my next one and I had none left and no message from the injection delivery people. I rang the rheumatology lot and they told me why. I went for my bloods and they

Surviving corona
Lots of us with rheumatoid arthritis must have had covid 19 by now. I wonder if people would like to share their experience. Please mention what RA meds you are on, what advice you were given, how bad you were affected, etc. I'm particularly interested in how quickly our immune systems bounce back after

steroid mg's
For those of us that are still on high strength Pred, what mg are you taking per tablet. My sister in-law who lives in Spain and sometimes has to take them for her Rheumatoid Arthritis has been prescribed them at 30 mg per tablet...I've been having to swallow eight tablets at a time (5 mg's each), surely

I'm new
Hello everyone I'm new here. After complaining of back pain since a minor traffic accident in 2011 and a separate pelvis injury in 2018 I have finally had an MRI (had to go private, I haven't even been able to get an xray on the NHS) my results show significant and widespread osteoarthritis throughout

Shielding from Virus?
I have rheumatoid arthritis and I am taking Sulphasalazine, does this mean I have to shield myself from this virus? I have not received any letter. I work in a GP surgery on reception and come into contact with a lot of patients. Am I at risk?
