Please help! Is it psoriatic arthritis?!
I would love some advice about whatever I am suffering from especially lately. Everyday I feel lost and scared because I don’t know what’s wrong with me or what I can take for it to help the pain to go away. After experiencing a sudden headache, I was diagnosed with multilevel cervical spondylosis back

Prednisolone for reactive arthritis
Hi, all. My husband was diagnosed with reactive arthritis a couple of weeks ago and after no improvement with painkillers and anti-inflammatories and antibiotics, he’s been put on prednisolone. He’s pretty much bed-bound because of the pain in his ankles, knees and shoulders. He’s 44 and not had any

Octave Trial Glasgow - immune suppressed response to Covid Vaccine
There are a few news articles about this today. The study is looking into the efficacy of the Covid vaccine’s in patients who have suppressed immune systems, including those with inflammatory arthritis. Interesting one to follow. Meantime, take care out there

Update Hello all. Well today I had my first f2f with the consultant since diagnosis and you can probably tell from my title that I am not happy. In fact I am really, really, really p'd off. She was very pleasant and not at all dismissive but she didn't examine, said she agreed that if I have seen

Update to ? Tocilizumab
I recently wrote for advice prior to starting on Tocilizumab as I was little nervous about side effects. Onycholyosis and psoriatic arthritis
I went to my GP yesterday and she had never seen anything in her life like my nails. I suggested I had psoriatic arthritis as I stumbled upon similar photos as I searched google...yes I know....google and all that. Anyway I had onycholyosis last summer on 4 nails which grew out then about 3 weeks ago

OA?
Hi all 😘 My rheumatologist deals with my inflammatory arthris in my hands but despite meds (metoject) the pain in my feet and shoulders is unrelenting. My symptoms are persistent and worsening despite treatment. Is it advisable to ask my rheumy if it could be osteoarthritis as well as RA that I have

Pain relievers for osteoarthritis
Hello all, What do you use to relieve osteoarthritis pain. I’m having a lot of hip and sacral joint pain. Currently on 13 mg pred where I’ve been stuck for months. Tylenol barely does anything. Ibuprofen helps more but I don’t take it often because of the pred.

Interesting & informative conversation with rheumatology specialist nurse
I've just been prescribed hydroxychloroquine after my rheumatologist had a meeting with haematology and lymphoma teams over concerns about my blood count and pet/ct scan which revealed diffuse bone marrow infiltration, both of which have now been put down to high doses of steroids!!firstly they thought

Arthritis in the spine
Also using a hot water bottle really helps as it keeps the muscles and tendons warm which makes moving a lot easier

Covid jab
I’m due to have my covid 19 jab this week sometime and wanted to know from others how it affected them in anyway. I have diabetes arthritis for which I take methotrexate injections and epilepsy. But just in general how have those who have taken the jab been after?
