Spoke to my rheumatoid nurse today she has told me to stop my meds for 2 week 👍

That’s what I was advised too. It’s individual so we won’t all get same advice.

I wasn’t told anything for 1st jab. I took a reaction 10 days in with flu like symptoms and my RA drugs no longer have the same effect. Rheumatologist has arranged for me to have my 2nd dose next week and this time I have to stop my meds 3 days before and 2 days after then I will carry on until my new meds arrive

I wasn't told to stop my tocilizumab, only had a headache and a sore arm for a couple of days after 1st injection

Odd, I spoke to my Rheumy yesterday and told her that I had missed a week due to my covid jab and she said there was absolutely no need!

I stopped for a week , had hoped to do it for 2 weeks, but was too sore! Good luc.k

Hi I wasn’t told anything. No messages whatsoever lol I just went and had mine and had sore arm for few days. Just waiting for second one now.

Was told i could even gave my teams the same day as my covid jab , got a sore arm but otherwise fine x
