After 2 years of trying for a baby and one round of IVF I only had one egg so they would not complete the treatment however they offered me IuI but said my chances were extremely low of conceiving, but I bet all the odds and on the 1st of May 2020 I gave birth to my beautiful baby daughter. I really wanted to join this site to give other people hope because miracles do really happen.

Thank you so much for sharing. This definitely gives me hope. Congratulations 💕💫 Xxx
Amazing, how old are you, I am 44 I have 4% chance
hi hun im 41 and doc has only given me a 6% chance and has also only recommend IUI as i was a poor responder to IVF. i am looking to change clinics but in the meantime i am taking the advance supplements and vitamins recommend from its start with an egg. all these vitamins has made my period late though this month
What a beautiful story my amh is 0.38 considered this but not sure practically I have nothing also I'm nearly 41 . Can you message privately where you got your iui done? Xx
Awesome 👍 congratulations
Thank you for sharing and big congratulations!
Congratulations. It’s hard to remain positive sometimes so it’s nice to hear your news.
Honestly I totally get it’s hard to stay positive but I remained positive all the way through even when I was told I would not conceive and I was going to adopt me and my partner agreed. Now I am going through menopause and I’m 36 years old so I feel I am so lucky to have my little daughter even though I won’t have anymore children and feel it’s way to early to go through menopause I am still truly blessed xx
Amazing, congratulations! I have a question about converting to IUI actually - were you medicated after insemination like a normal IVF cycle (ie did they put you on progesterone)? xx
Congratulations xxx
That’s amazing. Massive congratulations hun. I am on a similar boat but my clinic allows me to continue the IVF with 1/2 eggs. Did you conceive through IUI or naturally.
I conceived through IUI which was a massive shock as the doctors and nurses had told me that it was very unlikely, I really do believe things happen for a reason as now I am 36 years old and am going through the menopause at first I was angry but I’m so lucky to have my little girl x
Because I only had one egg so they couldn’t go through the egg retrieval for IVF so that was my only option and despite them saying it was very unlikely I would conceive it worked so it just goes to show you can bet the odds.
That’s brilliant and thanks so much for sharing it gives those of us with limited odds that little bit more hope. Cheers and enjoy your family time 👍 xxx
Hi I’ve been trying for two years and we have done one round of ivf and I only was able to collect one egg in myTreatment as I have a low AMH despite my age. found out yesterday this resulted in a negative outcome- not really sure what my next steps should be. I guess go back to trying naturally but well done on your baby girl does prove it can happen
Yes it was my egg and my partners sperm so it exactly the same as IVF but not as succesful apparently
Ok I am 44
I’ve just come across your post, I wanted to say congratulations and Thank you for giving me hope.
I’ve had a couple of ivf cycles, producing mature eggs, unfortunately they haven’t stuck. I’ve conceived 3 times all ending in miscarriage. My clinic has now advised IUI, I’ve been feeling really low due to the success rates. You have given me some hope. Can I ask if you did anything different in the 2ww? Xx
I didn’t do anything different at all I just tried to take my mind off it I honestly did not think it would work as my chances where extremely low but it did, so honestly stay positive miracles do happen and I pray it will for you xxx
