Maybe caused by copper
IUD
?? I am 45 years old and was very active and busy up until mid April this year. Regular 5-8 km running and upwards of 10,000 steps per day. No health issues. Had copper coil fitted in 2013.

Hi, I have day surgery booked in Oct to have my stuck coil removed. I’m wanting to ask anyone how they were afterwards and how much recovery time was needed? Many thanks in advance.

should I try iui?
really need some advice... I have low amh, varying fsh. sometimes totally normal and had one high test. I have hyperthyroidism which makes things more complex. IVF did not work for us, I don't respond to the medication. But I do respond to clomid. every time I've had clomid I have had 2 good sized follicles

Asking a question on behalf of my Mum with regards to a hysterectomy. Ladies who have had it what did you keep?
My mum is 51 has always suffered with extremely heavy periods and as she has gotten older this has gotten significantly worse. After being put on iron tablets and tranexamic acid by the GP with not much relief she was referred to a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist examined her and said her uterus

Forging On in Permanent AF
Hi everyone. Saw Cardiologist for Paroxysmal AF in December 2019. He referred me to an EP. In Feb 2020, the week before I was due to see the EP, I had an SCA towards end of a squash match. According to all the reporting protocol records, despite 12 minutes of defib resus efforts by the squash centre

Natural vs medicated FET
Hi everyone, As the title suggests, I was wondering what others’ experience of natural vs medicate FET were. We have 8 frozen embryos and have just had a failed fresh transfer. Before that, I had a pregnancy that ended in an 8 wk MMC on a natural IUI cycle and 2 x chemical pregnancies on IUI with progesterone

Symptoms and diagnosis! HELP
I began having pelvic pains in 2016 following having a coil fitted. Immediately I was in hospital having severe cramping. They thought the coil had migrated. It was found in the right place and I was sent home. Every month was the same around my cycle. One evening I came home from work with severe pelvic

My husband has a history of heart disease and has stents and an ICD implant approx 6 years ago. (He went into VT after damage from a heart attack) He has never been shocked since and is stable regarding VT. He also has atrial fibrillation controlled by meds. He is on lots of medication for his heart

Dienogest with mirena coil
I had a 2nd laparoscopy in March 2021 where I had the mirena fitted at the same time. I had bleeding for 6 months after and I started to get pain again when my consultant informed me I could take dienogest 2mg alongside which could help settle the pain. I have had to get it from abroad due to issues

frozen embryo donation
Hello everyone just putting out a message to ask if anyone has had frozen embryo donation in the UK. I'm 45 and was meant to start fertility in Spain but due to a bad infection and the clinic not working with me I decided not to go through my journey with this clinic, so I am now looking for clinics

Extreme Reaction to Combination Pill
GP suggested I trial Gedarel 20/50 contraceptive pill as a different form of contraception after two failed merina coils and constant bleeding on all prostegeon only contraceptives (heavy period for 6 months kinda symptoms). The main reason is to control my Endometriosis. In the 8 days I've taken
