My first post: diagnostic laparoscopy didn't find anything but the horrible pain is still there
Hello, this is my first post here and I apologise for how long it is. I guess I am looking for some hope and advice. I am feeling really upset today because I had another phone call with my new gp who seems not to listen to me. I am forty, I’ve always suffered from bad periods (so did my mum and

Bleeding 2 weeks after first Prostap injection
Hi everyone so I currently have suspected but undiagnosed endometriosis. Dr started me on Prostap 2 weeks ago. I had been bleeding daily up until then (not a lot but noticable when I wipe) and have had lower left side pelvic pain for more than 2 years now and also have the mirena coil fitted. This

Should I get frozen embryos PGA tested?
I’m going through IVF using donor sperm.. my first round I had one embryo transferred which was apparently the best quality which resulted in miscarriage at 12 weeks. I now have 5 frozen embryos to transfer.. which the clinic have graded differently to what I see others graded on this forum.. FB23

Finally received Endo diagnosis following laparoscopy... advice/support for next steps please!
Hi Everyone, I had investigative laparoscopy surgery back in October this year. I finally had my endometriosis diagnosed (it's only taken 18 years, for someone to truly listen), it was removed along with scarring and I had a mirena coil fitted. The validation I had after the surgery was unlike anything

Need to offload for my mental health and thought you nice lot would understand.
Hi lovelies, A bit of background for you: practice husband had Klinefelters (and an inability to keep it in his pants) and I was apparently fine, regular cycle, every 30 days like clockwork just too fat. Always been at the heavier end since puberty averaging about 13st, had risen to 18st during Uni

One step back again...incredibly frustrated
Hello all. I saw a consultant in September for a diagnostic laparoscopy and coil insertion. However, because I work in the hospital I opted to have it done somewhere different. 3 months later I was accepted at another hospital by a consultant who agreed to do the lap. Which is due on Friday. However

I used to have a copper
iud
and would have very heavy periods. Could my heavy blood loss have been masking my PV? I then got a hormonal
iud
which has made my natural blood loss become almost nonexistent.

Daughter who at 51 had heart attack in the summer.
My daughter after having a heart attack in the summer, she is going through the Menapause and because of experiencing very, very heavy periods possibly because of medication has now been perscribed a coil to be fitted to control this!! Is this a usual proceedure?

I have had the Mirina
IUD
for 6 months now as a treatment for Endo after surgery and still getting monthly bleeds. When I was taking the pill I would take a back to back packet if I wanted to postpone a bleed for a holiday or important weekend. How can I do this on

Bi Ventricular pacemaker and ICD, please share your experiences
I have been offered a bi ventricular pacemaker and ICD as a result of my history of ischemic heart disease, various conduction issues, 30% ejection fraction, slow pulse rate. It is hoped getting both ventricles to beat together will improve pumping function and my general wellbeing. The device will
