Pelvic and Endo update
So, as I mentioned in the past, I have been undergoing multiple scans, different hormonal contraceptives etc to help with my heavy bleeding, pains etc. Before they used to say it might be Pelvic inflammatory dease as to why I was on them, they also keep seeing this cyst on my left side which either grows

I have dilated cardiomyopathy low ef and have been diagnosed since 2006. I have a crtd implanted and a icd before that. In august I attended a local hospital for a download of my crtd at the request of my normal hospital. I thought it literally would be a download instead they changed settings to

Ectopics & Fatigue
Hi, I am new to this forum but I wonder if anyone has any thoughts or comments on my situation. I’m a 66 year old retired male. I had a three lead CRT-D fitted in September and I am now unwell with ectopic beats and general fatigue. I have been to my GP and the hospital several times. At the 6 week ICD

ICD/Pacemaker Job Done
Hi all. Got the implant op on Wednesday and home yesterday. Everything went like clockwork (excuse the pun). I cant praise the staff at Edingurgh Royal Infirmary enough. They were wonderful. It was a very strange experience being awake while this was going on. I could feel all the pulling pushing happening

Confidence
First time on this forum and feeling a little nervous about posting. I had an ICD fitted in 2013 after my heart peaked at 345bpm according to the HRM in the back of the ambulance. The device did its job 6 months later after an episode and kicked 15 times rather than the recognised 3. I had an ablation

ICD: Going under the bonnet again
My post-implantation journey had been going reasonably well until I noticed a tiny hard lump protruding just where the leads enter my subclavian vein. It was very small to begin with and appeared within a couple of weeks of surgery. I thought it was subcutaneous sutures and so left it be. I called it

S-ICD
Hi,Had my subcutaneous ICD fitted just over a month ago. So thought I'd post to let anyone else having one know how it is living with one. Firstly I am doing fine, it was weird at first having a box inside me, but you soon just get on with it. The box is placed a little bit further back than flat

BFP naturally after failed ivf & iui
Hi all hope you are getting your bfps and for those who haven’t trust me your turn is coming. I turned 36 this year and we had unexplained infertility. After failed a IVF cycle and 2 IUIs i decided to give my body a break and recover emotionally after 11 months of TTC. I then consulted with my chinesse

has anyone else experienced this?
My gynecologist also recommended an
IUD
, which was inserted that same month and has not helped. I wanted to ask you all because you struggle with pelvic pain as well. I’m very desperate for answers. It has been severely impacting my day to day life for about a year now. Any tips would be helpful.

Laproscopy and hysterocopy
Hi all had a diagnostic laproscopy 19th June which removed some endo and a large cyst. Also had a hysteroscopy to remove polyps healing really well. Was told the only way to slow down recurrence of endo was to have coil or get pregnant. I've had so many issues with a variety of contraception and really

Implant or Injections
I am 21 diagnosed endo laparoscopy last year & had hormonal coil which is due for removal in December (I think it was containing my pain but now it isn’t)My pain is increasing dramatically so consultant has recommended implant or injections when coil is removed. I’m wondering how I am supposed to decide

Nerve pain after icd fitted.
I had icd fitted on 1st June this year following cardiac arrest. For two weeks afterwards I had intense nerve like pain in my left shoulder. Pain killers didn't work but after a couple of weeks the pain stopped but in past few weeks it has returned not with the intensity of before but enough to wake

Ultrasounds/MRIs - My experience and why you need to advocate for yourself if they don’t show Endo!
Controversial take here on ultrasounds and MRIs, but I responded to another users query with the below info, and wanted to share it more widely as I think more people need to challenge their doctors when they are told the scans didn't show anything but you are still in pain. I was diagnosed with severe

ICD beeping at 5am
My husband had his ICD fitted 2 weeks ago, I heard it beeping yesterday morning at roughly 5am, it only beeped for a short while, does anyone know what this means? I know my husbands arrhythmia is worse when he's sleeping, it hasn't beeped since x
