So, as I mentioned in the past, I have been undergoing multiple scans, different hormonal contraceptives etc to help with my heavy bleeding, pains etc. Before they used to say it might be Pelvic inflammatory dease as to why I was on them, they also keep seeing this cyst on my left side which either grows to 5cm or then it calms down and goes smaller. I have had a very complicated pregnancy when I had my first child and she had to be born early than my due date. I then was pregnant with my second, still having these pains and bleedings. After having my second child I then had my appendix taken out, whilst that was happening when I had key hole surgery, they said they saw something while I was having surgery, they got a gynecologist to come have a look and said I needed further investigation to what they thought they saw could be endometriosis related they couldn't tell but instead they put on my notes Pelvic inflammatory dease and got me on the coil treatment to see if there was any changes, so they didn't want to repeat another laparoscopy.
Nothing has changed, I still have pains, I still get bleedings in-between, having intercourse hurts. I am not near my expiry date for the coil yet.
So heres what has happened next.
I recently started getting heavy bleeding and I haven't started my period yet but I had heavy bleeding and been having pains, I went to A&E, they didn't do nothing about it but referred me to the gynecologists for a scan, but as I missed the scan I felt weak and was bleeding so much I did not get any sleep from the pain because they gave me cocodomal, which sucks! I then went back to A&E, same thing happened again, I went to the open surgery clinic l, they examined me, took some tests and I did my scan, they saw 2 cysts happening, one on my left ovary and one internally. The ovarian cyst was about 5cm, so they said they will keep an eye on it, second one came randomly. Second one has been painful, they gave me antibiotics to see if it will dissolve, 2days after I went back to A&E because I was bleeding both ends, front and back, before I had this same issue bleeding both front and back. A&E didn't want to do anything about it, only a gynae came to examine me and the doctor but they saw nothing. Great so I came back to the day surgery on the Friday when they asked me to come back to assess the second cyst and they can see it's abscess, so now I have to have a small op to remove it but I still having bleedings anyway. They did ask me if the GP diagnosed me with endometriosis but he said it sounds like I do, and he looked at my history and referred me to have an MRI instead.
I don't know what to do 😭

Hi, it's a good idea to the get the MRI, I just hope they are doing it asap for you. That way they can assess what's going on and what type of operation you might need so they don't keep having to go back in. Sorry it's taking so long for you to get answers, but general surgeons, who I'm assuming did your appendix, are fairly knowledgeable and probably right with what they spotted.
I just hope they do an MRI, I'm supposed to have another scan on Thursday to see the cyst I have. I just had a small operation yesterday to take out the second cyst which was vignal one, on the same side as my ovarian one, which is weird. But before having this surgery, I will still bleeding like I was having period but it was like it was prolonged. Now am recovering, still bleeding in pain, on antibiotics and they gave me pain relief which don't help. Hopefully they get on the bottom of this.
Since the last time, I had my gynae follow up appointment, the doctor added me to the waiting list to have my surgery for laparoscopy and hysterscopy operation. This was a different doctor this time and he told me that it sounds like I do have endometriosis and that this should be taken seriously. I explained about my previous doctors and he saw how many scans I had and that you will never be able to see it through ultrasound etc. He even said "you're never too young to have endometriosis" that I can have it at any age, because my previous doctor told me I was too young to have it.
That's pretty stupid of them a GP cannot diagnose you as having endo because they aren't qualified to. Get an MRI and look up a gynae who specialises in endo and book an appointment with them. SO sorry you have had to deal with this, it just seems we have a health service ina terrible state and very few doctors who know anything about endo. MRI will show what is wrong.

That is good news, not true that you can't see it on an ultrasound, if the ultrasound or MRI is done by someone competent you can usually see it but there are exceptions especially if it is mild endo. But the main thing is you are being taken seriously and they are looking into it. It's incredible that GPs who are not at all qualified to diagnose endo or rule it out think they can do so without a gynae....I think I had it from when I was 17 and it wasn't diagnosed until I was in my late 30s, all because of doctors who think their patients are not worth listening to. Good luck I hope you get something sorted out.
