Can I take T3 with tea and coffee?
My GP says that I need to allow 4 hours for
iron
and 2 for food and other supplements. Is that correct? I hear also that the above applies to T4 but not T3. I just would like to know what is best.

Anemia, and low thyroid stage IV MBC
I have been taking moringa and yellow dock to raise my
iron
. I have only been doing this for about a month. It’s so far has raised my
iron
a tiny bit. I saw my oncologist today who wants to give me IV
iron
, which she said would pass the gut. I am fearful that
iron
feeds cancer.

paraesthesia with Peg
I was taking 45 fortnightly for 15months,which kept the haematocrit very stable I came off the peg 5 months ago due to the paraesthesia My haematocrit is now rising again ,and I’m having regular venesections again which isn’t great for the
iron
deficiency problem.

B2 benefits for PD
I’ve also started to take inositol that helps with OCD and has natural
iron
chelation properties that could be responsible for problems with PD. I’m guessing if you’re reading this, you probably have some OCD tendencies, which is very common with. Parkinson’s.

From the little I've found, it appears to be an improvement over the otc pills, and might avoid the side effects of
iron
injections or infusions?

Thyroid Blood Test Results
I had my blood test at 10.30am and I’m also taking vitamin B12, folic acid, and
iron
supplements as I’ve been low on those before, though the doctor hasn’t tested my levels for any of those issues in a while.

Has anyone watched any of Dr Berg's youtube videos about B1 (Thiamine) deficiency and RLS?
I know RLS is associated with
iron
dysfunction but the Dr's video's are so very interesting. I've watched a couple of them now and he talks specifically about RLS and B1 deficiences. He mentions a lab test for testing B1 levels. Just wanted to share if anyone has interest in watching.

Anaemia test results
BUT Would you supplement
iron
with these results? I can't afford to do a full
iron
panel, and I had assumed this test would be enough to make a decision. Haemoglobin: 130g/l Ferritin: 75 TSAT: 38% Active B12: 81 Folate: 4.9 Does anyone know the ranges for Monitor my health results?

blood test results help! Haemoglobin, RBC low but iron in range?
hi there I just received my blood test results and my Haemoglobin, RBC and HCT were slightly lower than guidelines but my full
iron
panel came back in range. Spoke to GP who said she isn’t worried and to eat
iron
rich food and a multivitamin & to test again in 3 months.

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

My blood results update (from last week) - and a fuller picture hopefully
Spoke to
GP
re symptoms yesterday did not mention private testing yet as not up to having the conversation but she wants me to increase b vits and
iron
. Also wants me to increase HRT to 200 from 150 I'm not sure about this as it might muddy the waters.

Digoxin side effects or post covid
I just had a blood check to find that in the last few months my
iron
levels have dropped quite a bit. Now I have read that digoxin can affect
iron
levels and so can post covid . I have a fairly mild infection about 8 weeks ago. I also understand low
iron
can actually cause a fib?

Anxiety after increasing medication
And all my ferritin,
iron
, B12, D, folate, etc etc are in the ideal ranges (what is recommended here). Also, tried taking T3 before, didn't work for me. Shall I switch to 75 Mcg? Or do one day on 75 and 88 the next day? Go back to 75 Mcg?
