hope they checked your iron again. finding a good doctor can be hard especially after covid. You have to be a concerned patient and speak up with only about 5 minutes of thier time....what treatment besides iron. do they know why the iron is low? best wishees

They don't say why its always low,I get so fed up of calling them every week. I had a text today to book for a blood test, infusion was couple weeks back.

yes it is. I take a multi vitamin with iron daily,(as alway tole I’m slightly anemic) but also started take some B1 100mg separately which has helped boost energy a bit, there’s loads discussed online and YouTube , for me it’s too early to tell for sure but seems to help.

Hi tiredness is definitely a fibro thing. I can sleep 14 hours and still be exhausted. Other times I feel perky but lose it as if the plugs been pulled and all my energy drained away maybe an hour after getting up. It’s a problem that has to be managed. I try to have a nap before I go anywhere. So if I have choir at 7pm then I have a snooze from 5pm to 6pm and also dont plan any heavyish activities for that day at all. I try to go to bed before midnight and get up around 7am. If I can’t sleep I get up and have a warm drink and hot water bottle comfort in my recliner chair and fall asleep there. Pacing is key to avoid exhaustion. Gardening is 10 mins doing 20 mins sitting watching the birdies and having a cuppa. I have a stairlift as stairs exhaust me and wind up my joints. I relax in a sIt up bath. Still get very tired but avoid total exhaustion and I try my best not to feel guilty about snoozing and resting as its necessary. Re iron, I take something called spatone which is a mineral water with iron. Iron pills dont agree with me or hubby who like you has to have an infusion as he has Ulcerative colitis and cant digest the pills.

So hope you start to feel better soon.
