Ferritin
I know that Ferritin is stored iron but I’m a bit confused about how Ferritin and iron correlate. Is it possible to have Ferritin in range but low iron - and what would be considered optimal Ferritin? My level has just been tested and has gone down from a stable 88 to 34 I’m sorry to be so dumb

Restless legs and iron anaemia
Pronounced iron anaemia, but no possibility of iron infusion in Denmark. So I'm now taking iron tablets, but I'm not sure how much iron I should take? My doctor knows less about restless legs, about augmentation and how much iron in iron anaemia than I do!Will it be enough to take Amino Iron Ferrocel

Reassurance about taking T3 during pregnancy
Hi All I’m just looking for some reassurance if anyone else has continued on T3 during pregnancy. When I tested positive my ft4 was 17.5 (12-22) but my ft3 tanked from 4.4 to 3.1(3.1-6.8) and all my hypo symptoms were terrible. (Previous ft4 was17.1 and ft3 4.4 so I was still probably under medicated

Need your advice, pls, what should I take and how?
Hey all, I've been on a bit of a journey, unwell for the past few years, diagnosed 2012, did awesome on thyroid meds until...I didn't. Since I have now all cofactors optimal (vit D, B12, folate, iron, ferritin - after iron IV, magnesium), I feel my problem either stems from cortisol issues or balance

Iron blood tests results
Does anyone know if this blood result shows low iron? I got my results back and it says normal but looking online it says it’s in the lower range. I’ve added the results in photo. Thank you in advance.

I think I have endometriosis
Hi,I am a 25 year-old teacher and I think I may have endometriosis. I thought I would post my story on here in the hope that somebody may have had something similar and maybe let me know how the rest of their journey to diagnosis went. I started my periods at the age of 10, they were always heavy

Blood Pressure experience and views sought
Hi allI have been feeling ropey,v lethargic and a bit slow for a few months now, despite increase in Levothyroxine. I had attributed this to constant blood loss(months) following HRT which didn't suit me,however this stopped 2 months ago. Previous blood tests showed haemoglobin on the low side so have

Never had this before in my life, started 5 days ago a high pitched ringing in my ears driving me crazy. Actually booked for a thyriod scan tomorrow which my gp referred for

Further Update
Am now taking pregabalin 200mg and this mostly seems to be working. Recent evenings I've been getting some 'aggitation' but so far walking a bit has helped. I have 0.25 mg tablets to increase dose if needed but am reluctant to do this yet! What's the maximum I can take? My serum ferritin results were

re: newbie
hello all. I am 39 year old mother to 3 children. I have found this group after looking for somewhere to purchase NDT, after having read the stop this thyroid madness book. i had a routine blood test back in july, due to complaints of fatigue/weight not budging and cold toes and hands. To my disbelief

Hair Loss with Acalabrutinib
I have been taking this drug since March of this year and in the past month my hair has started to fall out drastically. I had long hair to my waist but cut it thinking that was the issue. According to my oncologist my iron is low and this is the reason for the loss of hair. Has anyone else experienced

Monitor My Health iron test - lack of ranges
I spent a bit more money on my MMH test this year as I’ve never had an iron panel done but have always had low iron indicators on a full blood test. I didn’t get complete results as ferritin failed (posting the kit back took 48 hours when it was tracked to take 24) but the results I did get, I can’

TSAT low, ferretin high
Dear fellow sufferers in RLS hell. My sleep medicine doctor suggested an iron infusion because my TSAT is 28,87% while my ferretin is 145,40ng/ml. I was taking iron supplement for 6 months before the test. I am not very knowledgeable about the difference between TSAT and ferritin. How high are
