After blood test for low red cells it was low iron ,urine test clear ,stool test a trace of blood Dr examined my stomach no tenderness didn't find anything same with rectum exam being sent for camera to see bowels,no symptoms at all having iron infusion in 2weeks any input from anyone who has had similar would be welcome

I had low red cells for a long time, had iron infusion, and iron tablets, didn’t make any difference. I’m now on EPO injections which are gradually raising the count up, I’ve also had 3 blood transfusions. I have post ET MF. I had a polyp removed from my intestines after a trace of blood found after the bowel screening test. about 4 years ago. That was done at the same time as the camera. I’m 70 and in the UK.
