advice please - not so optimal after all 😳
MMH test just in, I’ve been on Aristo 125mcg since mid December and 5mcg compounded T3 for 8 weeks. FT3 6.8 (3.1-6.8) FT4 27.7 (12-22) TSH <0.01 (0.27-4.2) I have worked hard on gut health so could well be absorbing better. I have very slowly lost 2 kg over 8 weeks but been super good about restricting

vitamins etc and thyroid function
hi guys, just trying to get my head around Vitamins etc. My son is 20 and has just had his TSH come in at 4.5 ( above range with medichecks)… I’m so reluctant to think he may need treatment for thyroid now as I feel sorry for him I guess and am trying to understand whether optimum levels of vits/iron

Currently 75mcg of tirsosint and 1 grain of Armour. Synthetics seperate meds do not work for me I had just came off of t4 and t3 separate meds after a year of feeling like I was going to die (no matter what adjustments etc). I do feel much better on this combo but still have all the hypo symptoms. GF

Vitamin B complex before blood tests
I know that you should stop any b vitamin supplements for 3-7 days before a thyroid test due to the biotin but does this apply to other blood tests. GP wants me to do some blood tests next week for iron etc and wondering if I should stop the b complex before. TIA

Can stress or worries make a big difference in FBC numbers?
My wife's FBC has changed significantly over the past few weeks, while her medication has been the same for a year. During the past year she has been on anagrelide 3 a day, hydroxy 3 a week keeping her platelets at or around 250 white cells at or around 40 though over the past 8 months her Hgb keeps

Zinc and Copper Deficiencies
Hello, All! Well it's always something - isn't it? Before I begin - a refresher - I have AMAG, PA; take B12 sublinguals daily along with 500mg folic acid daily, iron twice a week - low dose, vitamin D daily and thyroid med daily. Because of my inability to absorb B12 I thought maybe other nutrients

Comments On Blood Test Results Please
I don't post very often but I read a lot on here, and after having a Blue Horizon full thyroid blood test, I would be interested in the thoughts of anyone on what came out of it. I had radioactive iodine some years ago and am on levothyroxine (100mg). My results from the GP always come back as 'normal

Six Months later - upcoming meeting with my MD (input needed)
[lab tests are from October 2022] So, it is 6 months later and things were going well on 0.075mg Synthroid (75 mcg) and 15 mcg Cytomel divided over 3 daily doses. I have been diligent with supplementing iron using a heme polypeptide every second day, alternating with zinc w/ copper and of course taking

Blood test follow up
Thank you all for your help. Results of discussion with doc - Parathyroid hormone: 10.93 (range 1.5-7.2), higher than range but lower than a year ago apparently (14+). This was a few months before my GCA diagnosis. Still waiting on results for B12, iron, folate. A year ago vit D levels and calcium

Recommendations for multivits
Hi everyone, Still waiting for my blood results from IFAB/Parietal cell/MMA/etc, etc. Hopefully have them next week, so 🤞 for some answers... In the meantime, I've been SI-ing B12 EOD and also taking gentle iron. Kind of have some answers of my own already though, as I'm already feeling TONS better

Iron tabs.help
Hi fellow suffererers, I've just been reading the posts re.Iron supplements. I take two Gentle Iron 20mg every other night, I notice that the first ingredient listed on the bottle is a Bulking Agent(Microcrystalline Cellulose),I was wondering if I can purchase a Gentle Iron without any Bulking Agent,

Blood test results - round 2
I posted three weeks ago requesting help interpreting blood tests I’d had done for thyroid and calcium. Thank you PMRpro for your help. I’ve since had my parathyroid hormone levels tested plus B12, iron, as I have been feeling excessively fatigued (ironically I’ve felt much better over the last few days

Latest results
Hello, would anyone be kind enough to help me with my latest results? I have had an underactive thyroid since my early 20s and I have also been diagnoses with Hashimoto's, but do these results indicate I have now gone overactive? I had a full hysterectomy a year and a half ago and I'm not sure if that
