Can anyone help or advise please?
Since then I did some research & have been using
iodine
salt & taking kelp in case it has been caused by
iodine
deficiency. I have been on Femoston-conti hrt since I finished my menopause nearly a year ago (I'm 59) I would be really grateful if anyone here can advise or has had similar experience.

I am planning on having a urine

Dietary iodine intake for Hashimoto's patients - yes or no?
My understanding is that this daily low dose of
iodine
can help lower the antibodies if it's taken with the right amount of selenium (ie one Brazil nut a day). Are there any endocrinologists in this group who can confirm this? Thanks.

Anyone else get super itchy, highly sensitive fingertips?
This only started a few days ago but I’m wondering if it could be thyroid related. The tip of my finger is irritatingly super itchy. Like I want to constantly rub it against the sharp corner of my worktop. All the time. It’s also really sensitive. I had RAI treatment ages ago and paranoid about nerve

Pregabalin, gabapentin, AED, epileptic drug interactions with B12 processes
Hiya, Does anybody have information on why long term use of AEDs like Pregabalin and gabapentin affect B12. I am deficient as a result of ileum and large intestine surgery, not pernicious anaemia and IM inject myself daily. If the issue lies in intestinal/stomach absorption then I am inclined to continue

Current medication advice?
Hi all - I’m soon to move house, and so with that will be getting a new GP. My previous GP just put me on a sleep study for RLS, and was advising on some medication I’d been warned about here. Approaching my new GP, what’s the current medication people suggest here for RLS? I broke both my elbows a

Situations with high FT3, but normal within-range FT4 and TSH
One of my colleagues has answered a question of mine regarding what
iodine
deficency can result in, in chronic deficient regions. This is yet another expression of thyroid function under stress.
