Progesterone only pill

I’ve started taking the POP yesterday, just wondering what people have experienced in terms of timescale before I feel any pain relief?

I’m awaiting a lap and have been given the POP on top of the other meds I’m already taking (paracetamol, Mefenamic acid and codeine when needed).
