Hello ladies,

First of all apologies for the TMI…I’ve had a c section 17 days ago and for the last 3 days I’ve been having terrible intestinal cramps with bouts of loose stools/diarrhoea….was wondering if it’s part of the recovery? Has this happened to any of you?

After the section I was on antibiotics but I’ve stopped them on 8th August and other meds like paracetamol, ibuprofen, codeine and lactulose which I’ve stopped a week ago.

Haven’t gone out to eat and haven’t eaten anything ‘suspicious’ (like raw fish for example) …so not sure what this is…

Have no temperature which is good.

Grateful for your thoughts xx

I’m pretty sure I had all of these for a least a month after the Cesarean. I put it down to my body adjusting after all the codeine etc but it wasn’t fun. I just stick to eating plain food and drinking lots of fluids to stay hydrated.

Hope you are enjoying every moment with your wee one xx

try and take it easy and eat light foods. Your insides are still healing.
