RSL advised would be appreciated
Hi I have RSL for over 12 years now, doctor said to take iron tablet and that didn’t work. It been getting worse by the year, I had to stop driving because I almost got in to accident. Ended up leaving university because of RSL. Now I can’t even sleep through a night properly and it’s just so frustrating

Tired all the time
Lately I feel tired all the time, from when I wake up to when I go to bed in the evening, despite the fact that I sleep more than 8 hours per night. I take a lot of supplements (calcium, D3, folate, complex B, magnesium glycinate, heme iron),
the only value that was low was ferritin
but I do take

more blood results help
hi again, I’ve had further bloods taken after starting levothyroxine in July 2023. The doctor refused to do full bloods so only did TSH & vitamin D. They started me on 100mg of levothyroxine and I also took all the suggested supplements After 8 weeks I didn’t feel much better so increased to 150mg.

Medichecks results, please advise
Hi Everyone, posting my 1st ever private blood tests. Please can anyone comment, I'm quite new to this. The results came with a Dr's overview, so I'll be taking Vit D supplements but the other results appeared 'normal'. What do you think? And do the autoimmunity antibodies indicate Hashimoto's or am

Advice on new bloods following T3 trial - Improvement in T3 😃 but v low TSH 🙁
My latest blood tests are below. I’ve had these done as I’m due for annual GP bloods in a week and wanted to know more than simply my TSH. I’ve been trialling T3 (sourced privately) and this has made a big difference, my % through range is much improved. I’ve been feeling better - less exhausted, fewer

Hi forum friends I went to my gp Friday to see what help I might get re my thyroid now and also if I might see a haematologist re high serum iron but low ferritin (28 …5-204) thus can’t take three arrows. I didnt get many answers as he concentrated on a current kidney/uti issue I have so he’s booked

new to group
I developed strange heavy lower leg sensation in 10/23; always been very healthy active 54 year old female. This issue coincided with a lower back flare up after playing pickle ball. MRI revealed a small disc bulge at L4-5 but no one was sure if these symptoms were related. I also got brain MRI

GP Levothyroxine review appointment today
Today I had my appointment with the GP to review my Levothyroxine. He introduced himself as the GP that I am registered with not the one I was told I would see. He is Indian and even using the microphone that bluetooths directly into my hearing aids he was very difficult to understand. Several times

Any suggestions on timing of dosage?
Dear All, Firstly, thanks for all the fantastic information I've found here. Having been on Pramipexole for 20+ years, I'd been finding that it was becoming less effective and found/joined the RLS:UK website and found that I shouldn't be taking it all! As a result of what I've been reading here, I

Breathless on period
So I have noticed that on my periods I get exceptionally breathless doing normal things like brushing my teeth or talking. It only seems to appear when I start bleeding and stops when my period does. This is new for me, and honestly felt a bit wheezy when I went upstairs. I bleed super heavy but my iron
