Anyone here get pregnant after age 48?
I am still desperate to have a baby at this very late stage, and need some encouragement.... Has anyone got pregnant after the age of 48, either naturally or through IUI, IVF, or donor egg? I would love to hear your stories for some encouragement. Thank you!

Long time suffering!
I was diagnosed at 19 with PCOS and am now 26. I always suffered with it but I fell pregnant last June and went forward with a medical termination. I had such an ordeal for about 6 months of an incomplete termination, infections, severe severe bleeding (through pregnancy liners and super heavy tampons

Mirena coild removed, scan showing still there
Bt of back story, long term mirena user but after having it replaced during surgery last year i had horrendous pain. Went to hospital where had to have it removed as it was coming out, at the same time a new one was put in. A week later still in pain i went back and had it removed. Both times awake

Pain post op after cyst removal
Morning, i’m a new member and just looking for some reassurance post op. I had emergency surgery to remove a 10cm cyst on my right overy, which ended up with the removal of the overy and tube on 3rd September. The pain from the small incision sites on my right side and belly button seem to be settling

Thin lining ☹️
So I had my scan today good news I have to decent sized follicles for my iui one at 14mm and one 11mm so they should be good. Although nurse said my lining was thin not even thick enough to measure☹️ Have another scan Saturday to check it any recommendations to try and thicken it up before then?? Xxx

Marina coil. Removed and best my arthritis has been for years
My friend had a marina coil and within months was being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I did a bit of Internet searching and as a result had mine removed about 3 or 4 years ago. I then stopped my medication and although I wouldnt say I'm cured I haven't had a flare up in my knees since. I have just recently

Recently had a laparoscopy but found no endo or cause for pain, what next?
Hi everyone, I had an emergency diagnostic laparoscopy on 30th July 2020 and a Mirena coil fitted. My surgeon found no endometriosis or any cause for my physical pain, just that my bowel seemed a little full. The coil seems to have made things worse. I'm so lost and I don't know where to go from here

Best treatment?
Hi all. Hope you’re doing ok Just looking for any advice. At the beginning of 2019 I was put on Microgynon 30 to help with endo. However, it really messed with my mental health and by the end I was feeling as bad as before. I came off the pill at the beginning of lockdown to see if there was any difference

~Pain relief for endometriosis
I got diagnosed with endometriosis in December 2018. During my lap I had the mirenia coil fitted. This was great until exactly a year later when the pain returned, but only this time worse. After numerous trips to urgent care at hospital I was then admitted in December as the pain was that bad I couldn't

So I’m hitting a brick wall and I’m so frustrated! I have every single symptom of endometriosis and they seem to be getting worse my symptoms are... -painful periods since the age of 13 - excessive bleeding -long period -occasional painful sex -constipation (diarrhea on actual period) -debilitating

Endometriosis stage 4
Hello ladies, My husband and I have been TTC for the second baby for 3 years now. We have done 4 rounds of Clomid and went onto 3 rounds of IUI. When doing the IUIs they found I had cysts on both ovaries which are blocking the sperm from meeting my eggs. We decided to move forward with laparoscopy just

Any experience of prolong bleeding after a coil and lap?
I had my lap 2 weeks ago and a hormone coil inserted. I wondered what are others experiences? As I am still bleeding and in pain. When I had cerazette I bled for 6 weeks until I stopped taking it and I am worried the coil will be the same. Thank you

Letrozole tablets
I am hoping you ladies while help we calm down a bit.... So basically the clinic prescribed me 5mg of letrozole to take day 2-6 and I thought was to be taken morning and night but I have just realised it was only meant to be once a day.... I think I have got it confused with the tablet given to induce

Infection from coil fitting
Hi has anyone here had the copper coil fitted and actually got an infection from the procedure? I recently got the coil put in and been in agony that no painkillers were shifting it and it was getting worse. I’m now on antibiotics for the infection and I’m just curious if this has happened to anyone

The coil causing hair loss?
Over the past year I have started to notice significant hair loss at the front of my head. I have never noticed this before the coil and have no other reasons for the hair loss. Has anyone else experienced this? I would hate to have to remove the coil as its the only thing thats helped with endo pain
