I am hoping you ladies while help we calm down a bit....
So basically the clinic prescribed me 5mg of letrozole to take day 2-6 and I thought was to be taken morning and night but I have just realised it was only meant to be once a day....
I think I have got it confused with the tablet given to induce my period....
I am due for a scan Thursday to check my follicles before iui and I don’t know what to do I’m so angry with myself for screwing up my own cycle?
Do you think I should just tell the clinic and they will probably cancel or should I wait till Thursday and hope I haven’t over stimulated and I’ll still have a chance with the cycle going ahead?
I can’t believe after all this time waiting I might have just ruined this all for myself🙃🙃🙃

I think you should defo tell them, you wouldn’t want them to think you have overacted to the standard dose and put you in lower next time. Maybe just drop to the correct dose between now and then and explain at the scan in case you can still go ahead?
Oh gosh so you have overdosed 🤣 yes still go for your scan in case it can still go ahead, but defo come clean!! You can always try naturally if they won’t let you go ahead, was it to be iui or just trigger for natural?xx
Hi Taytay, sorry to hear you got yourself in a muddle. Try not to worry too much, I've taken Letrozole at various doses (between 2.5 to 7.5mg) and it doesn't change much. It might mean more follicles are matured, but with Letrozole alone it's still unlikely to be any more than 3 or 4. If at the scan you have a reasonable amount of follicles 1 or 2 big ones (or maybe 3 max), then there would be no reason to cancel depending on the policy of your doctor. Best of luck, hope you get some nice big follicles! 💕 xxx
It looks like we are on a similar journey, although I was prescribed 50mg of Clomid to take on days 2-6, which I will start tomorrow after my scan. Then I will go in for a scan to check the follicles next week Sunday.
They want me to try naturally for the first cycles then if nothing happens have IUI to increase chances! It’s nice to have a buddy on a similar journey! Wishing you all the success! x
