Visanne - where do I buy it?
Hi all, I was recently diagnosed via lap in Oct (Stage 2). I can't handle Progesterone-only or the combined pill because I have had migraines with both, so bizarrely; my consultant has prescribed Visanne (another progesterone?!) as a last option as I won't get the coil. She told me that the NHS won't

Lost and with little hope
I have been bleeding for 14 days. I was diagnosed with endometriosis after having a laparoscopy for a cyst on the 19th of September. They found widespread endometriosis and the 30 mins intended for the surgery lasted 3 and a half hours. Since then I have been put on the pill. It worked until 14 days

Am I imagining things?
Does anyone else get flu like symptoms before your period is due to start? I have a coil but it's not working too well now and so get a few symptoms again now and getting a drs appointment due to covid is nigh on impossible. I have been doing lateral flow and pcr tests to check symptoms recently but

Coil removal
I’m looking at getting the coil removed soon to try to get pregnant. I’m anxious about this as I’ve had to go to the hospital for a ultrasound as the nurse couldn’t see the strings during a recent check up. All is fine with the coil but I’m wondering if anyone can reassure me?! Also, any advice for trying

Another day another blow
I’ve just had my third cycle cancelled this year due to poor response. First cycle was short protocol and resulted in IUI due to one follicle storming ahead (it didn’t work), second was long protocol and that didn’t work as I didn’t respond enough and third cycle was short again and this time didn’t

Endo pain with mirena 12 months on
Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometriosis November 2020 with a laproscopy. The endometrial tissue was removed, and I was placed on the Mirena coil to reduce my estrogen production. The first 6 months of the mirena coil was not nice, the pain was so bad we worried it was leftover endometrial tissue

Hello all, I have stage 4 endometriosis. It’s recto-vaginal. I have had the Mirena coil in for 2 years. It was good initially. Stopped my periods completely and massively reduced my pain. I was getting a lot of pain in my left ovary and scan revealed 8cm cyst. I’ve had 2 further scans since abs

IUI process using donor sperm
Can anyone who has been through this give me any advice in timescales. I was referred in March and had 1st appointment in July.. which led to tests.. and after an AMH of 11.9 at age of 38yrs and no other known issues the Dr rang in September saying he is ready to start IUI as soon as I find a donor

Cord blood donation Northern Ireland
Does anyone know much about this? I’m very early on in pregnancy but heard about this years ago when beother in law had to have a stem cell transplant. I’m not sure if it’s available in Northern Ireland. Does it have to be donated or can it be froze for possible future use for child?

10 Years With CLL: Two Trials & Lifesaving CAR T-Cell Therapy
I rarely cross post to Patient Power but today there is a story by a fellow CLL patient I have known for many years as DebinOz. She is one of the few I know of with a more aggressive form of CLL than mine. And I think she has more air miles than my 750,000 with United. Len - See: https://patientpower.info

Endometriosis Advice
I am 27 and have been dealing with painful period since I was 13/14. I have gone back to the doctor so many times about the pain to be told we can’t do anymore. You’re already on naxproxen and codiene nothing strong we can give you. Lots of doctors have said they think I have endometriosis but no one

13dpt IUI BFN - I am out
Hello girls, my test day is officially tomorrow, but I know there is no hope for me with a BFN at 13dp IUI. My period hasn't show up yet and even if I am on progesterone it usually shows up almost 2 days before my test day, but I know that with an IUI the chances of my BFN to become a BFP are zero.
