Couldn't Do Fourth Round Of Docetaxol: Husband Admitted To Hospital Tomorrow
Hi everyone. So today we couldn't do round 4 of Docetaxol. There was no doctor at the day ward so we are not sure what the reason was. Something was wrong with the bloods. The nurse said "liver is up so the professor wants to hold off", whatever that means. We saw the palliative care doctor, though,

Perspective of a Newbie
Difficult to comprehend, but I was in

for 3 days. I've not much recollection of the first week. Couldn't talk, let alone hold a pencil. The next week was a maelstrom of activity, improving all the time.

He was in

for 4 days and brain damage was a definite probability. Fast forward 4 weeks and he is now home with a defibrillator fitted. His normal heart rate of 42 is now artificially raised to 60 bmp and he is on a betablocker (sp?) every morning and night.

Rubbish -Leave liothyronine alone, Julie Woods and Simon Stevens should resign
Julie Woods chief Exec NHSCC and Simon Stevens should resign on this statement alone. How dare they suggest there are more cost effective products available than liothyronine. Unless they are referring to T4 of course, which is absolutele pug wash. This article just goes to show their lack of knowledge

On road to recovery
Hello, After almost 9 months I've been able to bring my post-prandial blood sugar level down to 124. By following LCHF diet as recommended here. Thankyou so much. My fasting though still remains high at 116. It was suggested to try ashwagandha at bedtime... I'm trying that now. Any more suggestions

Lymphatic Reflexology
Hello ladies This afternoon I had a wonderful session of reflexology. I've been feeling pretty pooped lately and haven't been sleeping well for weeks so figured i'd treat myself. I've had reflexology before a few times and it was something i'd organise often for my darling Mum as part of her palliative

Nursing home woes

Dear All greetings. I read about LCHF diet in this forum in previous posts that it is very good for diebitic patients. My question is if the person is having high blood pressure also along with diabetes then also is it good or not? Cos I read in another post that hypertension person should have low fat
