Association Between Dihydrotestosterone and Long-Term Risk for PCa Mortality
New study below [1]. To skip the preamble, read below "***". Ever since Huggins discovered that castration offered palliation for men with PCa, albeit temporary, there has been a belief that testosterone [T[ acts like gasoline on a fire. A number of study papers have appeared over the past 15 years

COVID-19 is it like the flu? NO NO NO my friend
It puts more people into
intensive
care
, where they require costlier and more advanced treatment, where they will be in
intensive
care
for twice the time required by other viral pneumonia-patients, and where they are more than twice as likely to die as those other patients.

Can anyone knit? Apologies, I know this is a running forum...
I was just reading the very sad post from Hidden and it occurred to me that some of you may be able to support a palliative care initiative that some hospitals are using. Essentially they give one heart to the patient, and the other to their loved one, as a tangible connection when they can't

Vulnerable or not?
From the age of 12, had numerous attacks over the first 15 years or so including two periods in
intensive
care
. I was also told recently that i cannot be stetolised as my lungs are not strong enough for a general anestetic. My attacks are usually bought on by chest infections.
