Fatigue and worsened depression following COVID-19 in a Parkinson’s patient
Hey people, I wonder if any of you can share some advice, ideas or insights here: My father, who’s 76 years old, suffers from Parkinson’s for the last 1.5 years and is treated with Rasagiline (Azilect). He recently had COVID-19. The acute disease stage was flu-like in symptoms and severity (so, no

Feeling Really down
Sorry, but a lot of members here will know that this is not me to moan. I've been in hospital with pneumonia, high heart rate and covid. It all started at the beginning of September when I awoke one morning with a soreness in my heart. I thought this is it I'm having a heart attack, dialled 999 and paramedics

Blood tests and covid jab
Hi all, my mum is due to have her covid jab this week and then blood tests a week later to check her thyroid levels (she had her T3 trial stopped 6 weeks ago - story for another day). Is it possible the jab may interfere with her blood test results?

My family including myself been reading about vivid spreading a lot again but not not thought much of it - abit silly of us. My sister who is married hasn’t been feeling well has been feeling too well - achy tired like typical cold. We thought nothing of it. But out of paranoia she did a test and it

Evusheld and lupus
NICE is currently conducting an appraisal of #Evusheld for preventing COVID19. As a stakeholder organisation, LUPUSUK will be submitting evidence about the impact of COVID-19 for people with lupus to help demonstrate why Evusheld is needed. To help guide us with our response, please spare 4-5 minutes

The other side of surgery and covid!
hi. Had a mastectomy 2 weeks ago today and tested positive for Covid 12 days ago! Covid tests negative but symptoms persist! Surgery went ok - fatigue the key issue. Time should sort that out 🤞 Restless legs mostly ok - taking half a Pramipexole tablet each day! I got half way through weaning myself

Advice needed before Covid booster on Saturday 8 October
I am due another booster jab on Saturday. I was fine on previous Covid jabs but when I actually got Covid in April it threw me abut good and proper (not the Covid itself). I had just reduced to 4mg when the bug struck. Afterwards couldn't walk due to stiff legs and had to go back to 10mg to level out

Covid Vaccine trigger flares?
Hi there, I'm 53 and was 52 when I was diagnosed with PMR. It seemed to come on after my 2nd Vaccine but it took a while for my Dr diagnose me. I got the 3rd vaccine in January just before I started taking prednisone, 15 mg. I am now at 6 mg and doing well. My husband is concerned if I get a 4th

Anything else?
Hello – I wanted to follow up with a question I have regarding my care. What else should I be doing or consider at this point? I had a prostatectomy in September 2021 after I ran a self ordered blood test in April 2021 and had a psa of 15.2. Asymptomatic and no signs or family history. RP pathology

Getting ready for FET and I've tested positive for Covid
Morning ladies I'm so upset, I've been feeling unwell over the weekend and this morning tested positive for Covid. I've had two intralipids and am on 10mg predisolone (amongst a million other things), so I guess I was going to be more susceptible to it. I'm due to transfer next week and my lining
