Hi guys well still got covid its been 5 days now, but am feeling better and am going back to work tomorrow. My guy is still in hospital so cannot see him until I test negative. The consultant has informed him he no longer can have immune therapy treatment as it makes his kidneys very ill and if they continue on it it will kill him. So hopefully there will be some other treatments he can try very soon. He is on an antibiotic drip for the next 6 days.
I rang my rumey nurse and she said dont take benpalli this week while having covid.
Will chat later when I have any more news. Hope you all take care. 🙂

Hope that you're well enough to cope with going back to work; if you're not sure, I'd take a few days off especially as you're pausing your RA medication.
Hope that your partner can get onto a different treatment soon.
it’s good to hear your feeling better, but should you be returning to work whilst testing positive. It puts other potentially vulnerable people at risk, unless your working from home.
My hubby works as a scientist, and had covid 2 weeks ago. Despite testing negative they don’t want him going into work, as they are finding those that push theirselves too soon are getting long covid. So he has to work from home, and take naps or rest breaks as needed. He is still getting night sweats and gets fatigued very easily.
Do check…. but I don’t think you should go back to work until you are testing negative! After all you caught it from someone testing positive & you don’t want to infect others do you?
I checked. And I. Could go back to work I even asked if it was. Legal to come back and was. Told it was legal. I amamm ok and I tested negative on Friday. I thought i was going to bevout of pocket as I dont normally get paid if I. Am off work, but I checked andandd am getting 80 percent of my wages for those 3 days of illness. Which was a relief. I am finding it was. Tired being. Back. But you just carry on. Sorry about all these full stops appearing on this peice. My phone randomly puts them in. Well that it for now as. Going to work now. Take care.
When we had Covid over a month ago, I recovered fairly quickly with antivirals but my partner was still testing positive for 12 days. Each time they reported a positive test online, they got a text telling them to keep isolating until they tested negative "to stop the spread of Covid and protect vulnerable people." Have they stopped giving that advice now?
Unless you are working from home where you can rest and keep away from other people I would not go back to work for the sake of other people and your own body.
I would absolutely hate to think a colleague would come to work - or to any of the places I go to - knowing they had covid, different if they don’t know but to go knowingly ☹️.
As someone said - someone with covid passed it on to you.
I work on my own in a kitchen, if I was working facing people I would not have gone. So its the only time that it is ok to go back to work. My partner is never going to get better. He just needs some treatment so he can have a few more years with us all.
